Don't drop the soap (Anyone) Empty Don't drop the soap (Anyone)

Post by Rayner Evens Thu Nov 11, 2010 3:02 am

The sound of feet slapping against the tiled floor was evident as Rayner entered the gym bathroom. He had just finished a serious work out session and he stunk. He walked into the cubicle and closed the door, but didn't lock it.

He stripped his clothes off and turned the water on, just below scorching. He let the water pour down his toned chest and let out a sigh of relief. He reached for the soap and ran it over his skin, small bubbles forming on his pale skin.

The sound of the bathroom door took his by surprise. He squeezed his hand slightly and the bar of soap shot out of his hands across the floor.

"Christ! Who ever is there, can you get my soap please?" He called out.

Don't drop the soap (Anyone) Empty Re: Don't drop the soap (Anyone)

Post by Jeff Jarrett Thu Nov 11, 2010 8:43 pm

Jeff Jarrett just finished his shower, wrapping a white towel around his waist and tying a knot by his hip to keep the damn thing on. He opened the door to his stall, walking out. There was only one other man showering, he beat the rush. His hair clung to his face in a blonde mess. He ran his fingers through it, pushing it over. He gave a slight wave of acknowledgment as one of the men from outside came in, taking the stall he just got out of.

Half here, half out of it while being lost in thought, Rayner's warning of rogue soap came a hair too late. Jeff's foot caught the soap, and combined with the wet tile it was enough to send the TNA founder comically to the ground. "WHOA!" He shouted out in his rich drawl, landing hard on his ass and back. He saw stars for a moment, exploding in front of his vision. Dazed, he sat up and reached for the slippery offender.

"My foot caught your soap." He mumbled flatly and got to his feet, adjusting the towel around his waist. He saw Rayner's feet under the stall door and went over to it. "Here." He tossed it over the stall door.

((I hope this is okay! Smile ))

Rayner threw his hands over his eyes as he heard the other man fall to the ground. A few seconds later the soap came sailing from the sky and landed on his head.

"Ouch" He muttered, "Are you alright sir, I apologies on behalf of the soap" He called out, peeking through the open door.

"Ahm fine." Jeff said, clearing his throat to get the edge out of his voice, letting his thick southern accent take over. He was more upset with himself for not paying better attention. "It happens. It's not the soap's fault that it's slippery. Or the floor's fault that it's slick when wet. Or that at times ah do suffer from inherent overwhelmin' clumsiness. It was an accident." He said and leaned to the side to see if he could see Rayner's face better as he peeked out from behind the stall door. He had to ignore the pain in his back from falling, not wanting to seem weak from getting tweaked in a simple fall.

"So tell me... do ya normally drop the soap, or was that a fluke?" He grinned a little, wanting to let the other man know that he really wasn't upset about the incident.

He shifted his weight a little to help the nagging sensation in his back. "Uh huh. I see." He looked amused. "What are ya, shy or somethin'? I promise I ain't gonna punch ya or somethin'. Ahm Jeff." He stuck his hand out with a smile. "It's nice to meet you."

"Oh, right. You're in the shower. Of course you'd be naked. Sorry, blonde moment." He joked and shook his hand. "Well, regardless of the circumstance- it's nice to meet you Rayner. Ah... well... I'll leave you be. Ya probably want to get back to what you were usin' the soap for." He winked at him.

"Jeff blinked. Huh? Ohhh! Oh no no no no- I didn't mean it like that!" He stammered and blushed a dark red. "I meant that you were washing yourself, not... washing yourself. Oh god dang it. Ahm gonna quit while ahm ahead, and uhm... leave before I make a bigger ass outta myself. N-nice to meet you." He said quickly and started for the door back to the locker room.

Smoooooth, Jarrett. Real smoooooth. It was a good thing the boys weren't back here to see you make a total ass out of yourself. You'd never hear the end of it. He shook the thought from his mind. It was going to be one of those days.

Rayner chuckled as he continued to wash himself. What a funny man! As he scrubbed he once again squeezed the soap too hard. The bar shot from his hands again colliding with the faucet. The shower head burst off and let out a massive spray of water.

"Heilige Scheiße! (Holy Shit!) Some one help!" He yelled as the water shot everywhere.

Rayner's shouts for help caught Jeff's attention. The older man whipped around and went right back to the shower stall. He opened up the door, keeping his arm up to block the spray while reaching up. He bent the worn pipe attached to the head up enough to direct the spray over their heads. He reached down to fiddle with the knobs, shutting the water off.

Jeff looked at him and shook his head. "That was intense! ...Are you okay? What the hell happened?"

"Ja I'm fine. The soap flew out of my hands and knocked the head off. Thank you for helping me" He sighed as he brushed some stray strands of hair out of his vision before blushing a brilliant red.

"God dang it, really? It might be time for you to switch to body wash." He bent down and picked up the soap. "Because clearly, this bar a soap here is a weapon of mass destruction." He grinned at him and put the bar of soap down in the soap dish. "Are ya sure you're alright though? That water was pretty dang hot an' you're turning red. Ya could be burned." Obviously, the thought that Rayner could be blushing never dawned on him.

"It's jus' what?" Jeff asked and then it dawned on him. "Oh. Right. You're naked still. I haven't looked!" He said quickly and directed his eyes to the ceiling of the showers, carefully making his way around Rayner and out of the shower. He shut the stall door behind him. "This may not be the appropriate time, but ahm guessin' there's a reason why we keep runnin' into each other. Uhm... I don't know if maybe you'd be interested but... I'm going to head out and get a smoothie down at the gym's cafe. Maybe you'd be interested in getting one? My treat."

"Alright! I'm going to go and get dressed. I'll meet you in the locker room." Jeff felt better after extending his invitation, though he wasn't sure why. So far he made himself out to be an ass in front of this man. Once back in the locker room, he slid himself into a pair of dark wash jeans that were flare cut. They looked mildly feminine, but that may have been due to his nice hips and round ass. He threw on his tee shirt, running a brush and blow driver over his blonde locks. He fluffed his locks out, looking in the mirror at his hair. "Damn." He muttered. He needed a hair cut. It was a bit dry. Once he was done, he slung his gym bag over his shoulder, fiddling with his silver bracelet while he waited for Rayner.

Rayner stepped out of the shower with a towel around his thin waist. He dried off and walked over to one of the shower mirrors. He chucked on some black cargo pants and a tight tank top. Using the remaining water soaked into his black locks he ran his hands through them, spiking them at odd angles. He reached into his bag and pulled out a pencil of eyeliner. He wasn't ashamed to say he wore make up. He preferred it. He lined his lower lids before putting both the eyeliner and towel back into his bag. Giving himself a once over he smirked before grabbing his bag and heading into the locker room.

((I'm sorry I didn't post sooner, I got sick and wasn't able to do much of anything but be sick. I assure you I was good at it XD))

Jeff checked his watch, looking around briefly for Rayner from his position where he stood. He waved to him once he saw the other man. "Hey! Over here." He smiled at him. "Ready for that drink? I sure do need it."

Rayner chuckled as he took a sip of his drink, "Ja, I'm from Germany. I was 22 when I escaped my hometown and moved to Canada. I decided to travel the United States to see where my life was heading. I'm here in Nashville to take in the Country scene and just relax. Oh and of course to train" He smiled.
