"Plus the only way I can get caught is if somebody reports it," Samantha said.

Matt sighed "Amy still wouldn't want you risking your job"

Samantha shook her head. "It's fine Matt just drop it."

Matt sigh but changed the subject "she's going to be fine right?"

Samantha nodded, as did Kiara. "We'll take care of her," Kiara said.

Matt nodded "i heard you talk about stages of the virus whats the next stage?"

Kiara sighed. "As the virus progresses the pain makes it's way down the patient's body, increasing as it makes it's way down, the next stage moves the pain into the abdominal region, and most patients are in enough pain to nearly need sedation for relief, most of them are crying out in pain by then, the combination of the previous pains along with the new ones is too much for most of them, stage for is where we lose a lot of people."

Matt sighed "she's going into stage four is't she?"

Kiara nodded slowly. "And it only gets worse from here."

Matt sighed he was afraid of that

Samantha sighed. She didn't want to wake Amy up, she looked so peaceful.

Amy stired slightly before she groaned softly

Samantha took her hand expectantly.

Amy slowly opened her eyes "hey" she said softly

"How you feeling baby?" Samantha asked.

Amy groaned softly "the same i guess"

Samantha nodded. She pointed to Kiara. "This is Dr. DiAvaro," Samantha said. "She's a friend of mine, she wants to look you over okay baby?"

Amy nodded and said "ok honey"

Kiara smiled. "Alright Ms. Dumas, tell me, exactly how are you feeling right now?"

Amy answered "well my thoat feels like it's on fire and my stomch hurts"

Kiara nodded. "Sounds like you're in the transition period then," Kiara said.

Amy nodded looking worried

Samantha held Amy's hand as Kiara looked her over. She knew these transition periods never lasted long.

Amy coughed moaning at the burn in her thoat

"It's okay baby," Samantha said softly. She watched Kiara looking for her supplies, knowing the older woman would wait for her to give the command, a sign of respect between the two. Kiara gave a small nod, followed by a nod in return from the younger woman. "Okay honey, open up, let's Kiara take a look sweetheart."
