Only A Match, Right? (Anyone)

Adrian sighed as he followed them. Was his only chance of happiness really gone this quickly?

The doctor let him in the room. Jake was unconcious, his hand hanging off the side of the bed.

Adrian bit his lower lip and took one of Jake's much larger hands in his own.

Jake's hand twitched. This was not the hand that was holding his only moments ago. Randy Orton stepped into the room. He had been the first person they called. Mike wouldnt answer. He has been here holding Jake's hand for a long time. He pulled up a chair on the other side of the bed and watched as Jake's chest rose and fell.

Adrian sighed, sitting down on Jake's other side as he looked at Randy. How could little, scarred, worthless Adrian compare to the perfectly tanned, tattooed god on the other side of him?

Randy picked up Jake's hand and stared at Adrian.
"Your that kid that had him so pissed of Friday werent you?"

"That'd be me." Adrian gave a half assed smile. "But now I'm his boyfriend." Adrian felt the need to clarify just in case Randy was thinking about trying something.

Randy nodded.
"So this is your fault?"
Why would Jake risk his life for some brat?

"You could say that." Adrian sighed. "But I didn't tell him to defend me if that's what you're thinking."

Randy gave an amused snort.
"So he was just being a stupid idiot? Is that what you think? He was dumb for defending you?"

"I-I didn't say he was dumb..." He didn't like this. Randy made him feel stupid and insecure. "I just said I didn't tell him to do it. I didn't even know he was going to until it was too late."

Randy snorted but said nothing. It was not his buisness what or who Jake chose to love.

"Do not snort at me." Adrian said, shocked he'd said that. But he was sick of Randy making him feel like shit.
"Do you know why Jake defended me? No. So don't go around making your damn judgements." Adrian snapped.

"Alright, listen up brat. You watch who your talking too. Yous seem to be disrespectful. You did that too Jake and now you want to talk down to me. Kid I would watch who I was talking to if I were a small, helpless, brat like you."

"NO, You watch who you're fucking talking to. I may be small but I am not fucking helpless." Adrian snarled. He could be quite powerful when he needed to he was just drugged before. He was incapable of defending himself that time.

"What ever brat. If I wanted to I could have Jake back, I could punt kick out and have you gone. It dont matter to me."

Randal Keith Orton had the worst timing. Just as those words left his mouth, the door opened revealing Drew.
"Randy don't ya dare threaten my fucking brother." He snarled.

"Your fucking brother needs to learn some respect McIntyre." Randy growled, redy to fight but one of Jake's shovle sized hands squeezed his softly.

"No. YOU are the one who needs to learn some respect Randal. You need to respect that Jake is with Adrian now. NOT YOU."

"Drew do you really want me to have to get up and whip your ass right here in Jacob's hospital room?"
Jake had cracked an eyes open, the ventalator making him unable of any speach. They could not fight now, not here.

"Oh bring it on. I'm begging for an excuse to hurt you. Adrian is finally happy and I WILL NOT let you ruin it because you're ass is horny."

Jake grabbed Adrian's wrist, he had to stop them, they could not do this to him, not here. Adrian had to make Drew stop for him.

Drew and Randy continued their staredown. Adrian jumped about a foot in the air when Jake grabbed him, he'd been too busy watching Drew and Randy to notice him wake up.
"Drew... knock it off. If anyone will hurt Randy it will be me and not in a hospital."

Jake let his eyes close back, his hand holding Adrian's tightly as the other one held Randy's.

Adrian frowned. What if Jake did want Randy back? He couldn't have happiness this close then torn out from under him.
