(This is a companion fic for mine and Mikey’s thread Losing what I don’t deserve, it takes place after Phil tries to kill himself but before Chris finds out. Hope you like it

Phil sat on the hospital bed as he waited for John to return with his discharge papers so they could leave, John had already packed up his stuff and took it to John’s place. He bit his lip as he looked at the bandages still on his wrists that hid the scars.

John sighed as he walked in and saw Phil staring at his wrists, he was really worried about his friend. Phil was coming more and more withdrawn and John wanted to help him but he knew the only way to do that was to get Phil and Chris back together.

John forced a smile as he walked up to Phil “Ready to go?” he asked. Phil nodded quietly as he stood up and grabbed his jacket. John sighed as he led Phil down to the car as he started to think.

John sighed sadly as Phil remained quiet the whole way home, Phil just sat quietly as the numb feeling grew as he sunk deeper into depression. John knew what he had to do and he started to plan.
