"Because im a monster and you deserve better."
It was killing him.

Mike laid Quinton Down, carefully examining him.

"You don't get it. For me there is no better than you. YOu're everythnig to me. I can't love anyone else. I only want you..."

Matt simply bit his lip as he watched.

"Im A monster...."
It was all he could say.

Mike sighed.
"That baby might have to come out now..." He scratched his head.

"No you aren't. You are the farthest thing from a monster baby. I was just trying to get you to settle down and that was the first thing tht came out...."

"Won't it be premature?" He bit his lip. He didn't know much but he wasn't sure..

"Zac...Just stop."
He was hurting him..

Mike nodded.
"Yeah...either that or he is going to sit here and it is going to mess up his insides."

"Okay..." Zac turned away, shoulders sagging in defeat. He was trying his hardest to just wait... wait until he was home to cry....

Matt bit his lower lip.
"Okay... if its going to mess him up otherwise, go 'head."

Kevin shook his head, pushing Zac back to him.
"Don't take that."

Quinton shook his head.
"No. My baby will not me a preemie."

"Gimme a minute." Zac walked off to the side. He needed his attitude back, he didn't want this bawl baby around. He took a few deep breaths and walked back. "I want a real reason Quincy. Wanting better for me isn't one. Cause if you leave, I'm just staying alone."

Matt shook his head.
"No way. I'm not letting anything hurt you, even our baby..."

"Zac that is my reason. You called me a monster, I wont have you with a monster. I would rather you alone than with a monster. And thats all there is to it Precious."

Quinton stared at him, shaking his head.
"No. I will be hurt before our baby will. You get that outta your head right now."

"I didn't mean it though. Yes, you were scaring me right there. I don't let anyone or thing hurt my children if I can help it. You wouldn't listen to me. I was just trying to get your attention. I don't think you're a monster and you know that deep down."

"Quinton... I don't want you hurt." He said firmly.

"No, I used to think, deep down. You...you thought I wasn't, you got me to believe and it was a lie. No more Zac, im done with it, I wont have you with a monster. Thats the bottom line."

"And I want my baby to be healthy." He sighed, reaching for Matt's hand.

"You... ba- Quincy, you love me. At least I think so. And I love you. You haven't always been the best person but you've changed. I know that. Memaw and Grampa know that. Momma and Daddy know that. You're NOT a monster. Go and ask anyone in this family. YOu're a good man..."

Matt sighed.
"No. We're getting it out now."

"One way or the other, you called me a monster Zachary. Can't be taken back or undone and I am a monster. But let me tell you, I am a single monster now baby."

Quinton shook his head.
"Matt, if you can hold me down while Mike cuts me open, you can have this baby. If not, then quit, all you will do it upset me and stress me and im not in the mood."

Zac swallowed the lump in his throat. What was the matter with him? He was never this sensitive. He sighed, not knowing what approach to take next....

Matt sighed.
"Well, you literally asked for it. Mike, can you please get the child out of him? I'll hold him down."

Quincy shook his head and turned his back to Zac.
It hurt so bad...so...so bad.

Quinton glared at Mike.
"Ill fucking show you what its like to get tortured by a marine." He growled to him.

"Please?" Zac whispered softly. So soft he doubted Quincy would even hear it... he couldn't believe he was resorting to begging...

"Mike, I'll handle him. Just please..." Matt begged lightly.
