Stubborn, Must Be A Canadian Thing

Shawn walked around backstage looking for Chris. The blonde Canadian male had just finished his match a few minutes before and Shawn wanted to check on him. Something had seemed off about him during the match. Shawn and Chris had been together for nearly a year and a half, so the Texan blonde was pretty sure he knew when something was up. He came to the door of the locker room he and Chris shared and knocked on the door, peeking his head inside. "Darlin?"

Chris was laid out on the couch in the middle of the room, holding his stomach and whining softly as he tossed and turned on the small piece of furnature. He had already been checked on but assured everyone he was fine, just a little cold, he was not worried about it. He glanced up at Shawn, giving a small pained smile.
"Hey babe."

Shawn smiled gently and walked over to to Chris. "Hey baby," Shawn smiled, sitting down next to the younger blonde. "You okay?"

"Just fine." Chris currled up, resting his head in Shawn's lap.

"You sure?" Shawn asked, carding his fingers through Chris' hair. "You seem a little off today."

"Im fine..." Chris insisted to his lover, though that one look of pained discomfort crossing his face told a whole different story.

"Christopher," said Shawn firmly. "I know you better that, don't lie to me."

"Im not lying Shawn, I don't feel good now stop it." Chris whined lightly pulling away from Shawn and leaning against the couch, his pink cheeks promising fever.

Shawn sighed softly. "Alright, alright I'll stop," said the Texan man. "Why don't I get you back to the hotel to rest hm?"

Chris nodded, standing on shaky legs to try and gather his things before changing, not even bothering to shower.

Shawn grabbed Chris' bag and swung him up into his arms. "I'll take care of that darlin, you rest.
