Edge blinked in surprise. "You don't like it?"

"Hate it," Cody admitted.

"Why man? All the girls want you. All the guys want to be you. It's perfect."

"Yes, but it's not easy to control this," Cody purposely thickened his lisp.

"Oh right, the lisp. I forgot how hard that is for ya bro."

Cody nodded. "It's not easy," he lisped in reply.

"Can't ya get treatment or something?"

"I could get speech therapy if I wanted, but I don't."

"That could get rid of the lisp, man."

"That's the thing," Cody lisped. "I don't want to get rid of it."

Edge stared at his friend, stunned. "You're kidding me."

"It's a part of me," Cody lisped. "Just like it's a part of my father."

"I still don't get it."

"I'm not going to change who I am Copeland," Cody replied.

"Suit yourself, Rhodes."

Cody shrugged, realizing seconds later that was a bad idea..... "Really shouldn't of done that," Cody lisped, gritting his teeth through the pain. His shoulder felt like it was on fire now

"You ok man?" Edge asked, concerned.

Cody gritted his teeth and nodded. "I'll be fine," Cody muttered.

"Codes, let me help man."

Cody sighed, letting his bag fall to the floor. Maybe he'd done more damage then he thought?

Edge quickly came to his side. "Easy man, try not to move your arm."

Cody bit his lip and nodded, stiff as a board.

Edge gently led him out.

"Fuck...." Cody muttered.
