Not Your Birthday

"I know, im awesome like that but still." He sighed and just kissed Gabriel's forehead.

"We... lets go in there. I'm letting him go." He nodded.

Gabriel sighed and nodded stepping back into the room and sitting down in Calvin's lap, kissing him deeply.
"I love you Calvin..."

"I love you too." He sighed and nodded at him. Gabriel sat down.
"Angel when we get home we gotta talk baby."

Angel frowned, since when was he baby?
The boy crawled over and sat in Gabriel's lap, his head resting on the big mans chest.

Gabriel kissed him deeply, stroking his hair as he hugged him.

Angel nuzzled Gabriel's chest, kissing his neck softly.
Now he was afraid....
What was going on and why was Gabriel acting this way with him?

He wanted to love him while he still had him... he was giivng him up as soon as they got home...

Angel pressed his lips to Gabriel's ear, whispering softly.
"Whats wrong Gabriel?"

"Nothing Angel..." He sighed softly.

"Your lying to me...Dont do that, I love you, I can tell with you Gabriel." His small fingers intertwined themselves with Gabriels.

"I'll tell you when we're alone..." He nodded.

Angel nodded, giving Cade a worried glance as he rested in Gabriels arms.

Cade frowned at them both, shaking his head and sighing. He had no clue what was going on but it wouldn't be good

Angel was nervously waiting for the game to finish up in fear of what might be going on with Gabriel.

When they finished Gabriel stood with Angel in his arms. With a mumbled happy birthday to Lance he carried him outside.

Angel hugged onto him tightly, his eyes wide in fear, but he didnt fear any beating, it was something much worse...
It had to be.

Gabriel carried him home, an ominous silence lingered over them. They both knew something was about to happen...

Angel's small fragile body quaked under the pressure. He made sure their son was with them but besides that he was just worried and scared.

Gabriel got inside and ordered Cade to his room. He obeyed without question.
"Angel babe... this isn't working out." He sounded like one of those lame movies with the cheesy break up scenes. He hated it.

Angel blinked at him, not quite understanding. No one had ever broken up with him, but he had never been in one of those relationships.
"Huh? Whats not working?"
So innocent...

Gabriel had never done a real relationship or break up. So he went with what he'd heard in movies...
"Us Angel... we aren't working out..."

"What do you mean Gabriel? How...I mean...Whats going on? What are you saying?" He had never been so afraid...

"I'm saying I'm... breaking up with you?" He sighed. "Look, no beating around the bush. I'm breaking up with you, I'm letting you go.."

Angel blinked at him, his face horrified.
"Wh-What? B-But...Wh-Why! I-Is it because of wh-what I said to Gabriel? I-Im so sorry! I-I didn't mean it! I-It just slipped out and V-Vash..."
