Better Sorry Than Safe

Aristotle chuckled, holding Bruno in his lap. It was a hot day, the pool was nice and cold. Chord had invited a few friends over and he had the kids and his new boyfriend out by his pool. He had a radio on and he was grilling. Kelton had managed to bring his own boyfriend Cade along so they had a good bit of people out here. He was wearing a pair of purple and white tap out trunks, Kelton in trunks that had small cigarettes on the ass and Aristotle who was were green and black trunks with a question mark on the front. They were having a good time...
Chord sat down, pulling Joslin into his lap and looking at his friends.
"Having fun babe?"

Joslin's own trunks were pretty plain for him, just a nice neon blue color.
He leaned into Chord's chest and nodded.
"Yeah babe." He paused. "Mind if I call a friend over?"

"Course not, you haven't let me meet any of your friends yet and you already know my two best friends. I can't wait to meet them." Chord nodded happily.

Joslin smiled.
"Kay thanks." He pecked his cheek and stood, walking off to the side and grabbing his cellphone, dialing his best friend's number.
"Hey Ash."
"i'm at my boyfriend's place."
"I am not whipped damnit."
"Whatever then maybe I won't invite you."
That got a reaction out of Asher. If there was any kind of party or anything he HAD to be there.
"We're out at his pool, messing around and grilling shit. He said I could invite a few friends. Im just inviting you though."
He gave him the address and he was on his way.

Chord got in the pool, he and Aristotle wrestling around while Kelton laughed and kept score.

A few minutes later a cute boy with shaggy blonde hair arrived.
"Jamie." He grinned at Joslin.
"Don't call me Jamie." He poked him but smiled. "But hey Asher. Glad you came. I only know like two people plus the five year olds." He chuckled.
"I'm glad I came too, there are cute people here." He noted.
"You can have anyone cept Chord. Mine."
"Oh I finally get to meet your new beau!" He clapped. "I'm gonna try and guess which one is him. Don't tell me!"
He hopped in the pool and peeked around at people.

Cord had Aristotle by the neck, forcing him under water, Kelton was sitting on the edge, feet dangling in the water as he watched them, cheering on Aristotle who seemed to be drowning.
Bruno was cheering for his father over with Avery in the small children end of the pool.

"Hmm... is it him?" He pointed at Kelton.
"No!" Joslin exclaimed.
"Damn really? He looks like your type."
"No. Its this one." He hopped on Chord's back. "Stop drowning people." he giggled lightly.

Kelton cleared his throat.
"Im Kelton McGuire and im with him." He pointed to Cade.
Chord chuckled, letting his friend go to turn and wrap his arms around Joslin, kissing him sweetly.
Aristotle come up, choking on water.
"Okay...this reminds me of a song..."
Chord shook his head. "Hell no, not with that voice, no singing!!!"

Joslin laughed.
"Let him sing, I could use a laugh." He winked.

Aristotle frowned.
"Mean ass, im not that bad."
"YOU SOUND LIKE A DYING GIRAFFE!!!" Chord shoved him into the water, shaking his head.
"He is good for making beats, singing...no..." He shook his head.

Asher's jaw dropped.
"Wait, what are you making fun of?" He nudged Joslin.
"His voice. Did you not hear it?" He giggled.
"Yes I heard it and hot damn I'd like to hear it screaming my name dur-"
"Enough! Must you make everything so dirty."
"Its what I'm hear for baby."
Joslin shook his head, blushing lightly.

Aristotle got up and smiled at Chord, laughing at him in his low drawn out way.
"Dude.....I like....dont sound that bad, riiiighttt?" He cocked his head to the side.
Kelton shook his head.
"Babe, you sound stupid."
Aristotle frowned, crossing his arms and just standing there.

Asher blinked. What the hell was wrong with these people? That voice made him want to tackle the boy and rape him....
"Alright I know like no one here but are you guys on crack or something? His voice is-"
Joslin cut him off.
"He likes his voice. Lets leave it at that."

Chord got up, drying his hair and stepped over to Asher.
"He is slow...his voice is like that so if your making fun of him dont be too harsh."

"I swear I'm not making fun of him... damn I was serious." He shook his head.

"Okay well...A bit weird but alright." He nodded and went to finish cooking while Aristotle played with the little kids.

Asher walked over to the little kids with Aristotle.
"Ashwey!" Avery grinned up at him.
"Hey baby." Asher kissed his cheek and plopped down on the edge of the pool.

Aristotle looked up at him, smiling widely at him.
"Im Aristotle." That voice...

Oh god. If he kept talking God only knows what Asher would do.
"I'm Asher." He smiled back sweetly.

Aristotle smiled back widely.
"I like your name." He laughed lightly in his slow way.

"And I love your voice..." His eyes lit up. "I swear I'm not being sarcastic either..."

"Ummmm thanks, its funny soundin cuz im slow..." He pulled Bruno into his lap.

"Its very... sexy to me." He giggled, hair falling in his face. He was not shy at all. Avery was already bouncing around in his lap.

"Cool..." He nodded, pecking Bruno's cheek, his face even had a rather clueless look to it.
