Only A Match, Right? (Anyone)

Randy stood and ent down, whispering in Jake's ear before kissing his cheek and walking out.

Adrian's lower lip trembled as he folded his knees to his chest.

Jake swallowed, his hand holding Adrian's to where his heart was. He and Randy did not love eachother anymore.

Adrian sighed, stroking Jake's hand. Randy was right. He could get Jake back whenever he wanted.

Jake was with Adrian. Randy knew that, he and Jake were no long in love but he still cared. Jake was falling in love with Adrain.

"Darlin', don't think like that..." Drew sighed. He knew what Adrian was thinking.
"Just don't..."

Jake listened closly, he was happy Drew was there. He couldnt assure Adrian right now, Drew wouold do it for him.

"Think what? I have no clue what you're talking about..." Adrian lied speaking softly.

Jake squeezed his hand.
It was not fooling him or his brother.

Drew didn't know Jake was conscious.
"Randy's an ass Adrian. Don't let him get to you. Jake really likes you."
"Randy's the perfect man Drew. Tan, muscular, tattooed, strong, powerful. And then there's me. Fucked up, pale skinned, scrawny, weak, helpless little me."

Jake wanted to growl and protest. He didnt want Adrian thinking that. He loved Adrian, he knew he did. Adrian was sweet, caring, cute, he was everything Jake adored.

"Don't say that Adrian." Drew sighed, standing and hugging his younger brother.

Jake was so tired, Adrian was taken care of, he could take a quick nap.
When he did the heart moniter went flat.
They had to come in and struggle to wake him up.

Adrian hated this. Hated that it was all his fault. Why did Jake have to do this?

They finally left when Jake's eyes were open an he was popping there hands away.

Adrian would have smiled if he weren't so worried. Drew did manage a small smile at Jake.

Jake was not amused, he did NOT like the doctors touching him, he didnt like anyone touching him.

Adrian shyly kissed Jake's forehead softly.
"You okay?"

Jake's eyes softened as he gave a small nod with the tube down his throat. He reached for Adrian's hand again.

Adrian took his hand, smiling.
"Love you..." He murmured to himself. He didn't want to frighten Jake.

Jake's thumb carressed Adrian's knuckle as he skeptically looked his brat over. The poor man must be tired, Jake wanted to hold him but he couldnt with his chest like this.

"You're beautiful." Adrian whispered. Just the way the light hit Jake made him look ridiculously angelic for a moment.

Jake looked surprised, he was caught off guard by the boys sweetness and the way he said it.

"Inside and out..." Adrian breathed, kissing Jake's forehead.

Jake rose a brow, was this brat seriously calling him beautiful? It was the other way around, Adrian was the beautiful one, inside and out just like he said.
