The Raven Effect Empty The Raven Effect

Post by Jeff Jarrett Sun Mar 06, 2011 5:04 pm

Jeff Jarrett was humming as he made his way to the appartment of his former employee, a skip in his step. Raven. A feral smile spread accross the founder's lips. Raven was an annoying smug prick, but every one of their encounters had been... interesting. No reason why this one shouldn't be.
As he came face to face with Raven's door, Jeff checked himself once more: cowboy boots, his favorite jeans which hugged his ass very nicely, a simple but well cut shirt. He ran a hand through his short curly hair. Yep, he looked good enough to do some gloating at a has been that can't wrestle anymore.
Smirk firmly in place, he knocked at the door.

Raven had his papers strewn about on the table, he was going over new ideas for his stand up act. He looked up at the clock- god damn it the wallaby he ordered might not make it in time to be a part of his act. When he heard the knock at the door, his heart perked up a bit- maybe that was his late order finally arriving. He got out of his chair, crossing into his living room and opened the door.

Well, it wasn't a wallaby, but it was good for something. "Jeff." He purred. "To what do I owe this honor?" The one thing he missed about TNA other than the pay check was having access to one of his favorite... pets.

Raven had a hierarchy. There were playthings, toys, pets, and lovers. Jeff was not a plaything. He wasn't a toy, and he didn't see him enough to be a lover. He reached out and put a hand on Jeff's trim waist, sliding his hand teasingly down his side. "Come to give me a back paycheck?"

Jeff blinked and scowled, swatting Raven's hand away. The man hadn't changed one bit.
"Keep yer stinky hands to yerself Raven." He paused. "But it's nice to see ya haven't forgotten about lil' old me. Too bad you're not working for mah company anymore," he added, inspecting his nails. "How is the boredom doing?"

Raven smirked lazily. "Oh, I'm not bored. I've got another job and a big haul of green backs to keep me bankrolled while I do what I want." He drawled and ran a hand over his braids. "So... you came several hundred miles and hours all the way up to New York City to see what I'm up to? You braved a cab ride? What, do you miss me Jeff? Do you miss the things we did together? Is someone not doing you right in Immortal?" He smirked at the thought.

Jeff's lip curled, though he secretly enjoyed the banter and Raven's smug tone.
"None of your business." He said shortly, then tilted his head to the side, looking at Raven closely. "Oh please. You can't make me believe that your current job can compare to what you did in the wrestling business. Don't tell me you don't miss the thrill, the excitation. Besides... I don't think you can pull half the shit you got away with while working for me. Am I wrong?"

Raven chuckled a little. "Oh sure. There's nothing like wrestling, Jeff. But your bald wrinkly buddy and new boss Eric Bitchfit had me axed. Maybe it was all the rumors that float around in that place about the stuff we used to do. Or maybe they want to do to you what I did so well." He paused. "Nevermind, that's gross. Even for me. And I'm a stand up comic, Jeff. I can say what I want but... there isn't a hot blonde around for me to diddle as I please, no. That's a job perk I only, sadly, get with you." He lowered his voice to a growl, pulling Jeff closer to him by his wrist. "Don't tell me you don't miss the way I'd pick you up and put you over your own desk, running my hands between your parted thighs before fucking you until you wobbled when you walked?"

Jeff's breath hitched ever so slightly as Raven's tone took a quality he knew very well. His physical reaction was almost a reflex. He never could refuse the larger man. He replied, pupils dilated:
"Happy times. Haven't found anyone to replace ya yet... Kurt's good, but not quite cut out for the job. But ya dun' work for TNA. Ah ain't yer pet anymore birdman."
There was a tiny note of regret in Jeff's voice as he said those words. At one time, Raven's attention were one of the only things that kept him going.

"There's no one like me, Jeff." His tone softened a little. He reached out and put his hand on his cheek. He missed the other man. He missed his presence, the cocky swagger, and the warmth of his body pressed up against his own in the long hours of the night. "There's no one like you either, for that matter."

"Yeah... I know. Come in, don't just stand there." He put his hand on Jeff's shoulder, escorting him inside.
