Better Sorry Than Safe

When Chord got home he found his lover and made him a plate of food, sitting with him and yawning. Kelton and Cade had gone home long ago, Avery was in bed.

Joslin kissed him tiredly.
"Thanks baby..."

"Sweetheart, you look tired..." He picked Joslin up with ease, hugging him tight and carrying him into the home they now shared.

"Just a bit." He smiled softly, nuzzling his neck with a sigh.

"Something wrong Beautiful?"
Chord was...so sweet when it came to Joslin, always careful and loving with him.

"Nah baby." he shook his head, lying down on the bed.

Chord changed clothes, laying down with him and pulling him close to his chest, yawning lightly.

"Love you hun..." He smiled. He loved cuddling...

"I love you too Beautiful."
So did Chord, he snuggled his lover whenever he got the chance.

Asher sat at home alone, sighing as he thought of what he could do to see Aristotle again.

Aristotle was out at the park on a bench trying to understand his math work. The tutor had given up a while ago and went home but he was still there...determined not to be stupid..."

Asher had gone for a walk with his dog on a leash. He walked through the park when he saw Aristotle.
"Ary?" He called.

Aristotle looked up, a large grin catching his features as he saw Asher and the small Yorkshire he had with him.
"Awwww Doggie!!!" He patted the dog's head, smiling up at Asher, "Hey Asher!"

"Hey!" He smiled and sat down on the bench, pulling the small dog into his lap. "Whatcha doin out here?"

"Trying to study. My teacher left me, said he gave up." Aristotle shrugged. "So im trying to teach myself how to do long division." He scratched the small bog behind its ears.

"Oh... want some help? I'm not a genius or anything but I can try." He nodded.

Aristotle beamed at him, nodding quickly.
"Please, I dont get this stuff." He played with the piercing in his lip with his tongue, humming lightly.

"Nice piercing by the way." He nodded before looking down at the problem. "Well watch how I figure this one out." He went through the problem slowly, explaining each step as well as he could. He checked the answer he got on the calculator on his cell phone. "Now you try the next one. Ask me if you get stuck." He nodded.

Aristotle nodded, looking at the paper, his tongue poking out like it always did when he was trying to focus on something. Focusing on one thing truly was hard for him to do. Each step took him almost four times long to complete and he was stuck within eight minutes.

"Okay look. You just..." He went on to explain to Aristotle how to get past the step he was on.

Aristotle took almost three hours to get past that one question. He was so upset with himself but the fact he finished at all was a blessing.

Asher grinned and clapped when he finished.
"See? You're not dumb. You did it."

Aristotle returned his grin, his smile so bright...
"Oh yes! Your so awesome!' He hugged Asher tight, he had never gotten through a whole page in a day but one question like this in only a few hours...and Asher didnt give up on him...

Asher laughed lightly.
"So are you! Now come on lets hurry and do another while you're on a roll!" He beamed and started on the next one.

Aristotle watched closely, hyped up and oh so proud of his accomplishment and so thankful to have someone here helping him...
Someone who didnt give up after the first two hours...
