Chris also noticed. He shrank back, his eyes clenched shut tightly. He said absolutely nothing, didn't move.

Kevin blinked, frowning at Chris.
"Momma?"
Mike shook his head.
"Shhh its over baby..."
He rested a hand on Dustin's head, sliding it down his face, and slipping the now dull chocolate depths closed forever.

Chris shook silently.
His Dustin...
His cowboy...
Gone.

Mike stepped over to Chris, gently tugging him into his arms.
He said nothing.
Dustin was gone....
The same Dustin who woke Chris up at five in the morning for a kiss.
The same man who saved Chris from his loneliness.
The same man who refused to stop touching his belly when pregnant.
The man who had become his whole world.
Dustin.
And he was gone.

Chris slowly pushed Mike off, standing up and taking a deep breath.
"I'll be back.. I just need a moment..." He jogged off to the bathroom, sitting on the closed toilet and crying silently into his hands.

Kelton walked after him, just to make sure he didnt cut himself.
Mike stood, looking at Alex.
"He is gone..."

Alex shook his head, almost in tears himself.
"I just..." He couldn't believe it.

Chris did nothing but cry, simply sobbing into his hands. Dustin was gone. He wasn't coming back. It just sunk in...

Mike patted his shoulder, sitting beside the body and pulling it into his arms, hugging Dustin tightly.
His best friend...

After about twenty minutes, Chris emerged, still crying but he could at least control it slightly now.

Quincy was not holding back, he clutching Dustin and Mike to his chest and he cried.
Hard.
It took alot to get Quincy to cry like this but...his big brother...

And seeing the dead body only set Chris off again. He sobbed hard. Rick pulled his brother to his chest, not as close as he wanted because of his tummy but he hugged him nonetheless.

Kelton hugged Devin tightly, looking around for Lance.
His poor brothers...

Lance pulled Devin and Kelton into his lap as he walked over. He'd been standing in the corner the whole time.
His daddy....
Tears poured down his face but he was the big brother. He had to be the strongest.

Dewayne was sitting with Kevin, hugging him and watching his father before picking Kevin up and taking him to the rest of his brother, hugging them too.
Dustin was not really Kevins father but for sixteen years he had acted like it.

Lance latched onto his oldest brother, his body quaking and trembling as he knew it was too late to save him. His daddy was really gone forever...

Dewayne wrapped Lance up in his arms, cradling his little brother close.
"Its okay bubba.....Shhhh."

"It isn't okay bubba." He sighed softly.

Dewayne looked at his father.
Gone.
They would have to talk about his things and his funeral...
Dewayne shook his head, hugging Lance tighter.

"I love you..." He sighed, hugging him tight.

"I love you too baby..." He sighed softly, looking around at all the sad faces.

"Why the hell did it have to be him?" He was so so loved...

Mike shook his head at him.
"No tellings....But it as and there is no changing it."

"I know.." Lance looked away, his head hung.

Quincy cried harder, Quinton with him.
Wayne held Faith, who shed no tears, she just looked down at his children with disdain.
Cry babies.

Chris was crying the hardest into Rick's shoulder, Rick even crying a bit himself.
