Rose Colored Glasses

"Don't cry Mikey." Alex shook his head with a sigh. "I'm sorry."

Mike shook his head, he was tired of Alex having to baby him.

"I won't hurt her... but you can press charges you know."

Mike nodded he knew he could, but then other people would know what she had done, know what had been done to him. Mike didn't want that.

"Are you gonna?" Alex asked hopefully, he wanted to make the nurse pay somehow.

Mike shook his head no and laid flt on hid back. He stared at the ceiling counting the tiles.

Alex sighed with a frown. It was Mike's decision. And he wasn't going to force him to do this.

More Mike though the more pissed he got. He was hurt and pissed. He was going to kill that bitch.

"Mike, you alright?" Alex had never seen Mike so pissed.

Mike snapped his head over to Alex and mouthed "What do you think?" He was not okay.

"Baby, don't get upset with me. I just want to help you." Alex cooed.

Mike glared, he was helping so much. The doctor came in. "Mr. Riley, you are free to go." The doctor took the iv's out, wondered why the breathing tube was already out and let him go. "Alex, make sure he takes care of himself."

"I will this time." Alex nodded as he helped Mike out of the bed.

Mike got out of Bed and quickly made his way to the car. The nurse gave Alex a wink before he left.

It took all of Alex's strength not to beat the shit out of her right then and there.

Mie waited in the passenger seat, contemplating what Alex had said.

Alex quickly drove back to the house. The children were ecstatic to see their mother.
Alex grabbed some leftover's from last night's dinner out of the fridge and laid them in front of Mike.
"Eat."

Mike rolled his eyes, he had been on an Iv for like ever, he was not hungry.
Alex, baby, im not hungry."

Alex raised an eyebrow.
"Fine, but don't think you're getting away with not eating again."

Mike glared, he was not in the mood. "I don't take orders." Mike shrugged and stuck his nose up at the food.

"Michael..." Alex sighed. "You don't have to right now, but you gotta eat eventually."

"Maybe." Mike shrugged, he figured he did have to but he was upset and mad, it was not fair but he was taking it out on Alex.

Alex sighed heavily.
"Please?" He asked again. "For the kids?" He added.

"Yeah, sure." Mike shrugged Alex off and went over to the bed and laid down. He was tired and didn't feel like talking anymore.

Alex sighed and went to make Alex Jr. and Sydney lunch as Mike laid down.
