Let Him Cry

Mike had a hard time sleeping, he rolled and just could not rest that night.

Jay woke very early and decided to get up, he couldn't sleep anymore. He went downstairs and debated the idea of taking a walk.

Mike stayed in bed and tried to get the sleep he missed out on last night.

Jay sighed and decided to take a short walk. He petted Rusty as he left, his wrist throbbing.

Mike got up only twenty minutes after Jay left. He picked up around the house before starting breakfast for himself and Jay's brother.

Rafe soon came downstairs yawning, he looked around and noticed Jay wasn't there "Where's Jay?" he asked.

"I have no idea but if I had to say he went for a walk like he usually does when im pissed or upset."

"So which did he do, upset you or piss you off?" asked Rafe.

"A little bit of both. I am upset he got hurt and pissed he picked the fight with Adam." Mike frowned at the food he was cooking.

Rafe frowned "Wait he picked a fight with Adam and got hurt?" he asked surprised.

"Yeah he did, I was up worrying, I had to take him to the hospital at some odd hour of the night." Mike sighed and shook his head.

"Was he ok?" asked Rafe softly, worried about his brother.

"They fixed him up, he will be fine." Mike had talk to the doctor and made sure of it.

Rafe sighed and nodded then he asked "So is my brother still in the dog house?"

Mike blinked before looking over at him.
"The dog house?"

Rafe laughed "Sorry it's a saying my mom uses, is he still in touble?" asked Rafe with a smile.

"Yeah, I have to or else he wont learn and next time he will be hurt worse. I love him to much to let that happen.

"So if my brother is still in trouble, does that mean i have a chance?"asked Rafe flirting.

Mike blinked, not understanding exactly what Rafe was getting at.
"A chance at what?"

"To do this." he said as he leaned in and kissed Mike. That unforturely Jay choose that moment to walk in.

Mike was so shocked he didn't react, he was to stunned to so Rafe was able to kiss him before Mike pushed him away.

"What the hell is going on?" asked Jay his voice filled with hurt and anger. Rafe pulled back quickly, realising what he had just done.

Mike yelped and jumped back, hitting the frying pan he had been cooking bacon in, knocking it over and down onto his back and shoulders. A blood curling scream filling everyone's ears as Mike was burnt and squalled in pain.

"Mike." yelled Jay as he hurried over to Mike. Rafe stood there unsure what to do.

Mike was crying and still screaming like he was slowly being tortured. The grease had been on high, cooking the bacon to a crisp and now it was burning the skin off Mike's back.
