"Alex, he needs you when your well. You are freaking out, calm your dumbass down for five seconds." Critter rolled his eyes going over and pooping Alex's hand. "Stop it."

"I am calm." Alex glared. "I'd be well if they'd let me see him."

"Alex you couldn't take it the first time." He handed Alex the album, it was full of pictures of the baby turns out it was alive for an hour but then died. "Hes not doing so good but they let them do chemo."

Alex sighed, flipping through the album.
"That's better I guess." He laid his head back on the pillow.

"And if your good they will let you see him. I was talking to the doctor." He nodded, he had made them agree to it...he had his ways.

"I've been good." Alex pouted, crossing his arms stubbornly.

"You have growled at every one who has come in here today, including me." He was the only one who growled back.

"Well they shouldn't keep me from my husband." Alex shrugged.

"He had been asking for you." Critter mentioned. He knew it would make Alex want to see him more but he needed to let him know.

"He could talk and I missed it?! Goddamnit someone get me the fuck off of this thing!" He snarled, tugging yet again at the IV.

Critter reached out and popped his hands away again but this time a little harder. "Alright now, imma be done tied your hand up." He sighed. "And yeah, but the only thing he has said is 'Alex' or 'I want Alex.' or 'I need Alex.' he hasn't been carrying on a conversation." Critter smiled. "I told him I was working on it and he said no more."

Alex let out a high pitched whine.
"He wants me."

"Yeah, he is waiting for you. I told him I would bring you and I am a man of my work but you have to sit here for a while longer."

"Why?!" He growled. "I'm fine! Damn doctors don't know what the hell they're doign."

"Alright big mouth, calm it down before they come in here and its even longer before you see him."

Alex's eyes narrowed. But he shut up, folding his arms angrily.

Critter rolled his eyes and poked Alex in the side. "Your a moody fucker today aren't you?" he laughed.

"And you're a provocative son of a bitch aren't you?" Alex snapped.

"Well hell yes. First off its fun to watch you get your panties in a bunch and when at war its a good trick."

"You know I changed my mind. I don't like you anymore."

Critter laughed at him. "Okay then, you can make them let you go yourself. They were going to do it for me but whatever." He smiled innocently.

"C'mon Critter. I was just jokin'. Y'know that's what friends do, they joke." Alex grinned innocently.

"Uh-Huh....Chris came by your house earlier is what your son said." Critter seemed serious. "If I catch him doing something to Mike or one of those kids I will personally kick his ass." He didn't want to offend Alex but he would not have anyone hurt Mike or those kids and he was getting that way with Alex.

"Oh don't worry. If he touches Mike or my babies I'll help you beat the shit out of him."

"Awwww but isn't he your very bestest friend ever." Critter hated him, it pissed him off to think of what he did to Mike mentally.
