You Belong With Me

Nick was in love with Dustin McDaniels. Everyone knew it. Except for Dustin that is. Dustin was his best friend. Like his big brother. But Daffy would be surprised at how many times Nick dreamed they were more... Some of the other superstars asked if the two were dating. Nick simply laughed and shook his head. As if that would ever happen.
They were currently on the couch in Nick's hotel room, watching television. Nick was leaning his head on Daffy's shoulder. To anyone who didn't know them, it would have looked as if they were a couple. But they were far from it. In Nick's eyes, that would only happen in his fantasies...

Daffy didn't even notice Nick leaning his head on his shoulder. It was so normal that he didn't bother registering it. His eyes were glue to the TV but in his mind gears were turning as always. He was wanting to do something fun and this sure as hell was not what he had in mind.

But first he needed to get Nick in a good mood. It was always more fun with his bestfriend around. Dustin bit his lip as he carefully moved his arm so it was around Nick's shoulders, he let it hang there for only a second before that hand went to work on tickling Nick. He knew how ticklish his friend was and this would get his attention. He would be in a good playful mood and maybe go out with Dustin and some friends.

Nick let out a high squeal.
"Quit it Daffy!" He screeched. He was so ticklish just that little bit of tickling had him dying with laughter.

Dustin grinned and continued his assault. He just tickled Dolph more.
"If I quit will you come out with me and some friends?"

"Fine!" Nick laughed, "Now knock it off!" He slapped Daffy in the arm.

Daffy beamed at him and stoped before picking up his phone and calling a few friends so they could all go out together.

Nick groaned. He didn't want to go out, he just enjoyed nights when he and Daffy would stay at home together. It was nice but Daffy was more outgoing, had more friends than Nick in the first place.

Dustin thought nothing of it as he got ready and winked at himself in the mirror before someone knocked one the door.
"Nicky! Get that please!" He called.

"It'll cost you!" Nick called but jogged to the door anyway. He opened it to find Cody Rhodes.
"Oh, hey Codes." He nodded and let Cody in.
Cody was a very close friend of his.

Dustin grinned and hugged the youngest Rhodes.
"Nick, what do I owe you?"

"Eh, five bucks." Nick smirked, stomach sinking as he hugged Cody. He could already tell what kind of night this was going to be.

"I would give ya a kiss but that is worth way more than five buck's."
He smirked, his arm still around Cody.

"How much do you think you're worth boy?" Nick laughed.

"More than five bucks, thats for sure." Cody piped in.
Daffy grinned. "You see now Nick, he knows wha hes talking a bout."

"Maybe fifty, tops." Nick smirked, wishing Daffy would just get his arm off of Cody...

"And that is why you are unworthy of my kiss." His stuck his tongue out at Nick before pecking Cody's cheek.
"Even that was well worth a hundred."

Nick kept the fake grin plastered on his face.
"Well are we goin or what?"

Daffy nodded and took him and Cody to a club. He was the first to get a drink and go mingle.

Nick stayed back at the bar with Cody.
"So, you and Dustin are just friends right..?" Cody asked, sipping his drink.
"Yeah." Nick sighed.
"Nice... think ya could put in a good word for me?"
"Ya mean be your wingman?" Nick raised a brow.
"I guess you could say that..." Cody blushed. "So will you?"
"Sure..." Nick frowned.

Dustin was on the dance floor. He had found a cute blond boy and just like anyone would, the blond boy had agreed to a dance.

"Now please." Cody looked down, blushing.
Nick sighed and walked towards Dustin.
"Daffy, can I talk to you?" He asked.

Daffy grinned at his bestfriend and excused himself.
"Yeah Nick, what is it?"

"Cody wants ya to dance with him." Nick grumbled blankly.

"Oh really now?"
Daffy wanted to pout, he was hopinh Nick had wanted to dance but oh well. He went back to the bar and asked Cody to dance with him.

Nick sighed as he watched Daffy and Cody dance. Damn, dashing son of a bitch..
