Just A Number..

Rick was in the room in a few minutes.
"What?" He grumbled.

"Stop being mean Rick, ill sick Kevin on you." Mike winked as he kissed Zac's cheek, lifting his shirt to feel it.

"I feel more sick than usual..." Rick muttered. "So why'd you call me in here?"

Mike shooed Zac off, getting Rick ready for chemo.
"Thirteen Rick?"

"Yes. Thirteen, mom..." He sighed, dragging a hand through his hair.

"Okay so baby, tell me about it." Mike started him on the chemo, taking his hand.

"I've told Kev, just conviently forgot to mention the age." Rick sighed. "Chris took me to some high school party when I was thirteen. They were playing truth or dare, some chick got dared to let me fuck her in the other room. She agreed immediately. She seemed like some whore or whatever. She was eighteen. She was hot. If I did it everyone would see me as some sort of god, and if I didn't I'd be a nerd. So I did. Simple as that."

Mike shook his head.
"Rick....Thirteen.....If I would have known that I might not have let him get involved with you."

Rick blinked.
"Really? What does that matter? I..." Rick trailed off, looking at Mike incredulously.

"Kevin is....He is special, you know that. He cant stand that you have been with so many people, you were the hot guy in high school, had every girl you wanted. Kevin waited so long to let his innocence be taken...I wanted someone like that for him. You.....you werent in lots of relationships seriously, you fuck and you leave, I wouldnt have let it go on."

"But Kevin's different Mike..." Rick sighed. "Yes, I was that guy in high school. You know, the asshole who fucked your girlfriend then rubbed it in your face? Yupp, me. I don't like it. I just... I was so worried about being popular. Yeah I was with a lot of people but I only made love to two. Both are your children."

"Yeah but back then....I had no idea and If I had known I would not have allowed it." He crossed his arms.

"Mike... I love your oldest son. He means the world to me... we're soulmates I know. What would have happened if you kept us apart?"

"He would have had a kid, raised the kid and not be bothering with you and Zac but its better this way, he loves you. And please tell me your just confused and your not talking about Dewayne."

"Oh, you know what I meant. You andAlex's oldest son.... although Dewayne isn't bad either...." He paused waiting for Mike's reaction. "KIDDING." He forced a small smile although he felt like shit.

Mike rolled his eyes, kissing Rick's cheek.
"I know, he is sexy like his daddy." This time Mike waited for the reaction.

"Hey now don't make me sick Chris on you." Rick chuckled softly.

"Fuck please dont do that again. He might come to my house and have Dustin beat me up before screaming in my face."

"Mike... he didn't want that." Rick sighed, kissing Mike's temple.

"Yeah well im so sure. He seems to care so much." Mike rolled his eyes ad he stroked his baby's cheek.

"Okay well I have a question for you. Why the hell did you not tell me my baby was dating a monster?"

"Kevin told me not too. And He is your fiancé and Zac's mother so...I unlike everyone else I respected him and his authority as your fiancé and Zac's mother."

"It just isn't adding up. Why? Why the hell did Zac let Quincy touch him like that? I don't get it..."

"Zac loves him and Quincy loves Zac....He is not the monster he used to be...." Mike sighed softly.

"But why him? Why did Zac want to see him in the first place? What part of 'hey, i raped your grandma and mother!' makes it seem like he'd be a nice boyfriend?"
