In His Eyes

Sean bit his lip as he slowly opened his eyes, looking down at the numbers on the digital scale.
One hundred and ten pounds….
Ew.
He walked to the bathroom and shucked off his shirt, looking in the mirror.
He was so… FAT. Disgusting…
In reality, Sean was a very tiny boy. Just like his mother had been. But in his eyes, he was HUGE. Fat, sickening, gross…
He groaned as he poked an imaginary fat roll on his stomach. He was depressed but he didn’t cut like his mother had.
He ate.
He ate and ate and ate.
Everyone was sleeping so he crept downstairs. He raided the fridge, grabbing as much as he could carry and sneaking back up to his room.
He sat down on his bed, locking the door. He was the only octuplet without a roommate. Normally it meant he was lonely. But at times like this he was glad for it. No one to see this process he went through every night.
He devoured a bag of cheese curls, two packs of cookies, a gallon of milk, a bowl of mac & cheese, three large bags of chips and two bottles of soda. And this was a SMALL one of his late night binges. He ate all this and laid back on the bed, his stomach bloated and sore. He ached all over, feeling horrible and disgusted with himself. He stood and walked to the bathroom. He bent over the toilet, shoving two fingers down his throat, gagging himself. He did this a few more times until all the things he just ate came up. He couldn’t stop it now.
The barf kept coming until his throat was sore and his stomach was empty. He whimpered, wiping his mouth and grabbing a handful of mints from the tin of them in his pocket. He poured them in his mouth, chewing. He didn’t want puke breath.
Ew.
He flushed the toilet and stood up, making his way to the bedroom and burying the trash from his binge under the bed as always.
