Long Time, No See

Angel frowned at him, bringing his hand up to gently touch his mouth. He smiled at Gabriel, his head tilting to the side.
"Gabweil......I diwd mwiss ew.....I was thwinking ob ew....Eben dow ew wewr de won hew gabe mwe two hiwm...."

He needed to stop this shit. He'd never gotten attached to Zac or Kyndal this much, why was Angel so fucking different?

Because no matter what Gabriel did, Angel somehow seemed to still care about him.
"Gabweil? Dwid I Dew Tometing Wong?"

Gabriel drug a hand through his hair.
"No Angel..." He sighed heavily.

Angel nodded, slowly trying to wash himself but he was so tired and last night he had lost so much blood.
He was still bleeding.

Gabriel lifted him and bandaged up all of the parts that were still bleeding. He dried him off and carried him out of the bathroom, dressing him in some new clothes.
"YOu're gonna stay here tonight, okay?"
He normally sold Angel to a different man each night... but he was so hurt...

Angel gave him a small smile, pressing his face into Gabriel neck.
"Th-Thawnk ew s-sow m-muwch...."
He refused to cry but he wanted to, he hurt so fucking bad....

"What the hell did he do to your ass?" Gabriel sighed. He'd saw how much it was bleeding.

"H-He thwew dawrt awt iwt awnd hwe twook a kniwf awnd...hwe...." Angel didn't know how to say this.
"He fwucked mwe with iwt." The small boy shuddered, pain etched into his poor face.

"Oh hell..." Gabriel shook his head. "I'm not gonna sell you to him anymore alright?"

Angel let a tear roll down his face. He hugged Gabriel tightly as his lithe body trembled.
"T-Thawnk ew!!"

Gabriel hugged him close, letting go of the asshole act for a few blissful minutes.
"You're welcome Angel..."

Angel sniffled, tentatively pulling back and pressing a kiss to Gabriel's cheek. "H-He was thw w-worwse thiwng eber...."

"Wh.... what all did he do Angel?" Gabriel sighed, nto sure if he wanted to know.

Angel whimpered.
"H-Hew puwed ouwt mwy tow naiwls awnd fwinger naiwls....He twew dawrts, he waped mwe wit de kniwf, m-mwade me dwink bwinded dwick, p-pwulled owt mwy haiwer....H-He just fwucked mwe awfter I-I cawed fowr ew...H-He swaid iwt mwade his dawie....."

"Oh.... Angel listen. He thought it was dumb for you to call for me because I would never save you right? If I'd known what he was doing... I would've taken you home, I'm nto the best person. I've hurt you myself but... I wouldn't want you hurting that bad..." He sighd.

Angel's head came up, staring into Gabriel's eyes.
"Ew wouwd hab sawved mwe?"
He cared enough to save him from that man...

"Surprisingly... yeah." HE sighed, shaking his head.

Angel leaned up, kissing Gabriel's forehead softly.
A small smile crossed his face.
"I hwped ew wouwd...."

Gabriel couldn't help but give him a small smile.
"I'm.. I'm sorry." He spoke softly.

"Ew shouwd bwe bwut iwts ober now....." He rested his head on Gabriel's shoulder.

Gabriel sighed and took him to bed, lying down with him.

Angel sighed, rolling over to Gabriel, almost cuddling him but backing down and scooting away.
He needed no more pain.

Gabriel almost pulled him back to cuddle but he stopped.
Yes it was better this way. Angel was still scared of him.
That was a good thing. So why did it hurt?

Because Angel was the only person to ever care about him, truly care after knowing what kind of monster he was.
