Months passed, Mike never did come home. Alex was now around eight months, he never heard much from Mike unless Mike was telling him something about Jayden. Dustin had made Alex come live with him and Chris until he had the baby. He made sure to give Chris extra love and attention but at night he sneaked down to see Alex and love his stomach, being a good giddy daddy like the southern man always had been with all of his children. He never did anything but coo at the babies and talk to about about them. He didn't love Alex like he did Chris, he did love him as a friend and the mother of his children but he was in love with Chris as the man he could not live without.

Chris couldn't look at Alex... he knew it would break him. And having him in his own house.. was absolute hell. He stayed in his and Dustin's room most of the time unless he absolutely needed to leave the room. When he did, he made sure to cover his eyes...
Alex constantly tried to get Chris to forgive him but it just wasn't going to happen. Their friendship would never be the same again...
Alex was in hell. No Mike, no Jayden, no Chris. Even Rick wasn't around much and when he was he came to visit Chris.
