War On The Heart

Quincy nodded, slowly leaning in and pressing their lips together before pulling Back.
"Thank you Zac."

The kiss... couldn't be described. It was small and sweet but so perfect to Zac. It made him tremble for a moment.
"Thank you, Quincy..."

The man snuggled the small boy close, shivering himself a bit, it was cold in here...

ZacS lips tingled... He smiled to himself as he snuggled close, his small body already freezing...

Quincy stood and pressed Zac down, slipping out of the room and returning with another blanket for them, laying down and curling back with Zac.

Zac was still a bit cold but he was glad. It gave him an excuse to scoot close and cuddle Quincy.

"I promise you....As long as I live....Ill protect you Zac." He didnt know why...

"But Quincy... your own life is on the line...." Zac looked up at him.

"Yeah but from some reason I value your life over mine....im not sure why, just something about you..." Quincy frowned.

Zac leaned up and kissed his cheek softly.
He had no clue why he was so special... why couldn't his little brother have been spared like this? Why couldn't everyone just be like Quincy? So caring..

He was afraid of them being caught.....Zac was not strong enough, they would gas him or something right when they saw him...

Zac would be so easy to kill, even if he wasn't found. He had to be handled gently, always had to be careful. His bones were fragile and weak. All it could take was a simple fall and he could be dead. If they were caught, he would be gone within seconds.

But now he had Quincy, a big strong man who didn't mind dying for the small boy, he would make it a little longer with this man here.

And Zac just... couldn't believe it. He'd gotten so lucky....

Quincy groaned, hearing Dustin and his mother fighting about the war.
"I swear he is going to get himself killed."

"Thats gotta be awful though.... having his boyfriend taken..."

"Yeah.....Mike was a good man, really sweet and he was caught hiding Jews....He was killed a day later and the people he was hiding got sent away to Majdanek."
Another extermination Camp.

"I just.... don't understand why this was happening.." He sighed. What had the Jews done?
Nothing. They were simply different.

"Zac....This man Hitler is insane and he has everyone believing the Jews are the reason are economy is bad so they have what he calls "The final solution" Where he plans to kill all Jews. He is trying to take over the world....He is fighting France and Britain, Russia and now he has gotten the U.S. into all this with Japan and Italy being his only help...And Italy is not a very helpful nation. Maybe it will be over soon....But he is trying to breed an Aryan race of people.....He is fucked up." Quincy explained.

Zac simply shook his head. How could someone do all this? It didn't add up to him but he was a good kid. Sweet boy. Hitler was not.

Quincy sighed.
"Zac just try to be happy while you can here with me because I don't think it will last. If they find us Im not sure what they will do."

"I am.... I'm trying Quincy. You make me the happiest I've been in years... thats not really saying much but..." He sighed and simply shut up, resting his head on Quincy's chest and letting his heartbeat soothe him.

Quincy Jumped as something banged on the door, He looked over at Zac with wide eyes, Cursing and picking the boy up, gently sitting him in the vent and pecking his lips before closing it and throwing the door open just to see Dustin standing there.
"Die Hölle?"
Dustin shoved in the room, slamming the door and ranting about their Hitler loving mother.

Zac nervously listened. He calmed down when he realized who it was. It was Quincy's brother. He wouldn't take Zac.. at least he hoped not.

The man finally stopped and just sat in the middle of the floor, his face tear streaked and dirty.
"Warum gerade er?" Dustin whispered brokenly.
