Alex watched him with a sigh, hugging Dustin tightly.

Dustin sighed as the plane took off, taking his son with him.
"Well Babe, all we can do is hope now..."

"Guess you're right." He sighed into his shoulder.

Dustin sighed and took his hand, leading him back tot the truck. "Lets love the one we have while we can."

Alex nodded.
"Its my fault. Course the one that lives with me feels unloved.." He sighed.

"Oh Alex don't take it like that. You can't help it with Mike on top of you and this and that....No one could have know."

"I'm sorry Dustin." He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I know Dev isn't perfect either but at least he's not suicidal.."

"Alex sweetheart, they are both good kids, I just stay on top if Devin because he is always bad, Titan is not....you never had to be on top of him...you never knew."

Alex sighed and nodded slowly.
"Whatever you say Daffy."

Dustin opened the door for him and kissed his cheek, getting in the other side.
"God help us all."

Alex nodded, head in his hands as they drove home.

Dustin got to the house and laid down, finding Chris and justing hugging close to him./

Chris smiled softly and stroked his hair.
"I'm sure he'll be fine baby.."

"Sure...Im tired of this." He just snuggled close and tried to dose off. The next week was very unpleasant, Titan had yet to have written..
No word at all..

Devin wrote him a letter every day even though he never got a response.

On Sunday he got seven responses, they had been mailed together but one for each day. Apparently he was going to be a pilot, training was hard but he was well liked.

Devin smiled at them all, writing him just one back for the current day..

Im tired, people are annoying and I am learning to fly a plane. I miss you, my week was just a muddle of weird battles in nameless places, pray for me. Your memory keeps me going..

Yes it hit me. Got me in the shoulder but ill make it, it went all the way through, pretty clean shot. I was lucky.

Well momma is constantly worried about you, I haven't seen him too much but when I do thats what hes like. Daddy... well you know daddy. He won't let it show how much he misses you. I don't like letting it out either but like I promised I haven't kissed or fucked anyone since before you left...
