Chord caught the hand, pressing it to his cheeks.
"Yeah...You and those gorgeous eyes have that effect on me..."

"You're one of the only ones I let see em so be happy..." He smiled

Bruno beamed, poking Avery.
"Ewer mwomma, mwy dawdy?"

Avery nodded happily
"Yesh..." He'd never seen someone act like this with his momma.

Bruno nodded, "Tawk ew mwomma into et, I gots mah dawdy."
The boy smiled at Chord, the man mesmerized by the beauty that was Joslin.

"I'll twy." He nodded, grinning at his mother.
It was obvious Chord's staring was making Joslin uncomfortable. His cheeks were slowly beginning to turn pink which was VERY rare for him. He never blushed. He was used to being stared at. Just not the way Chord was looking at him.

Chord couldnt help it though, he truly was falling for the man who wanted nothing to do with him....

"Mwomma.." Avery tugged on his mother's sleeve. "Mwomma... he wikes you."
"I know babe." Joslin chuckled, pecking his son's cheek.

Bruno poked Joslin's arm.
"Do ew wike himb?"
Chord was not paying any attention, he was zoned out, looking into Joslin's eyes.

"This is why I wear contacts." Joslin chuckled at Chord. "Um... I think he's really sweet but I don't really like him as a boyfriend." He explained to the child.

Bruno frowned, his shoulders slumping. He hugged onto his fathers arm, hiding his face and feeling bad for his daddy.

"Momma has lots of boyfriends." Avery nodded. Joslin sighed, feeling shitty.

Chord hugged his son lightly, kissing the top of his head.
"Its alright Bruno...Im alright." He cooed to the boy, giving Joslin a small smile and wanting to correct Avery.
Joslin didnt have a boyfriend, he had a lot of fucks but no boyfriend.

Yes that was true.
But every time Avery walked in on Joslin with some man this is what he called it...

Bruno sniffled and looked back at him.
"Hey Abery, wanna swend da niwght?"

"Yeah!" Avery beamed.
Joslin hummed looking at Chord
"Can he?"

Chord beamed, ruffling Bruno's hair.
"Course he can, im sure it wont be any trouble but if he comes he will be sleeping with me and Bruno in my bed. At night I make Bruno sleep with me in case of fires and what not, just so if it happens I can take care oi the kids, they wont be in a separate room."

"Um actually would you mind if I stayed to? I'm sorry I just don't like leaving him places..."

"Eh same here, Bruno doesnt leave me when I got him. But rule still stands. You will sleep in my room with me and the kids, Im telling you, im like...petrified of their being a fire and not being able to get to other people in the house."

Joslin nodded slowly.
He'd sleep on the floor.
"Well thank you."

"I wont mind sleeping on the floor but then you would have to snuggle with Bruno too, I make sure he has a bed to sleep in." Chord winked.

"Nah I'll sleep on the floor." He smiled softly.

"No, your a guest in my house, you will sleep on the bed Joslin and thats all there is too it." He took the man's hand, kissing it softly.

"Must you be so stubborn..." He sighed, shaking his head.

"Yeah, I think im falling for you so only the best will do." Chord winked at him, smiling softly at Avery.
