"Shit..." He didn't want to call Mike and get him more upset so he called David who was there in seconds.

Dustin wheezed, leaning against Dewayne who had come also. He was getting tired....his eyes dropping.

David poured some clear liquid down his throat. It tasted awful but it did stop the coughing and wheezing

Dewayne held him carefully, cradling Dustin to his chest and cooing softly to his ailing father.
"Shhhh oh Daddy..."

"I'm sorry..." Devin frowned. "He lost his breath yelling at me.."

Dewayne frowned at him, looking down and stoking Dustin's hair as the man black out.
"Dev....Baby you cant make him yell at you, you cant upset him...He cant take it right now bubba..."

"I'm sorry he's just... he's planning on doing something bad to your momma. I dont know what, he wouldnt' tell me..."

Dewayne frowned, his eye brows knitting together.
"He had better fucking not hurt my momma. Ill be his ass, along with anyone else who hurts my momma."

"I told him it was his fault back when I was all... well when I was a whore. And then he called uncle Quincy and Quinton and started talking about doing something to him.."

Dewayne nodded, sighing softly and gazing at David.
"Thats another thing, you be nice to my momma or find another fiance alright? You gotta accept my family and I gotta accept yours and they are really bitchy but im nice so you can be nice to David."

David sighed.
"I only don't like him because he hurt you..."

"I know baby and thats why I dont like your family but I deal with them, be nice to momma for me...He is a good momma." Dewayne sighed. "You should be mad at Alex...I lived with momma before he came along."

"I don't love him either but... Mike should've grown a set of balls and told Alex to grow up and ddeal with it..."

"See, thats the thing, Momma is different, and I got what he gave me, the thing where when im in love, Ill do anything for my lover, give up a child, anything. Even if you turn around like Alex and have a kid and tell me its too fucking bad, youll put me out before the kid. But I think Alex was willing to do that, Momma just didnt want him to hurt like he hurts."

David sighed.
"I'm sorry I just... you were a poor child. I don't think he shouldve let you go."

"I know baby...And because of it I have weird mental problems and clingy shit but I grew up in a good home with my daddy and mom, not over there were their is always drama...My family was stable.."

"I guess but you still love him so much and it just... irks me." He sighed.

"Baby...thats sweet." He smiled and sat his father down, hugging David.

"Is it? I just feel all... overprotective." He kissed his temple.

"I love how over protective you are of me....Its so sweet." He grinned brightly.

"Yeah well I love you to death." He smiled softly.

"And I love you more...I cant wait to be married even though I like my last name better."

"My last name is awesome." He chuckled. "But you can keep your name if you want."

Dewayne hummed lightly.
"I dont know...I wanna share a name but nielson doesnt fit me, Dewayne nielson..."

David frowned lightly.
"We can be the Nielsen-McDaniels if you want..." God that was a mouthful.
