Carter flashed him a smile and kissed his cheek before dressing and strutting out of the house with the boy.

Rhett was waiting at the bar, troubled look on his face as he sipped his drink.
Misery made his way to his master, he opened his mouth but before he could say anything...
A hand connected with his cheek, knocking him off his feet and down a few feet away. Rhett snatched the leash from Carter and yanked it, forcing the boy back for a strong boot to the nose.
"Where were ya!!"

Carter frowned and helped Misery to his feet.
"He was sleeping , I took perfectly fine care of him." He snapped.

"Ah dunt give ah rats arse bout how ya cared for em, heh souldah been here hours agoh, heh is gonna beh punished fer makin meh wait." The man growled loudly, kicking Misery in the gut and sending him back down.
The boy screamed.
His stomach was very sensitive after Trever.

Carter snarled and got in front of Misery, striking Rhett across the face.
"Don't put your filthy hands on him!"

Rhett Stood, slapping Carter with a large callused hand and knocking him out of the way, taking Misery by his hair and glaring.
"You wont be having him anymore if you dont calm down. I got money to make."

Carter's eyes narrowed as he watched Rhett with Misery..

Misery hissed at him, swinging and just getting his head bashed off the hard floor.

"Look." Carter snapped."You say you need money? I will give you as much as you need if you knock that off." He glanced at Misery on the floor.

Rhett growled, shaking his head and adding it up.
Misery whined, he wished he could go home with Carter...
"Maybe...for me to stop hitting him i want a thousand for every hour over time he was gone."

"Thats no problem." He pulled out his wallet and handed Rhett five thousand dollars. That didn't make a dent in his wallet.

Rhett counted the money up, his boot resting on Misery's cheek, pressing him into the floor.

"Stop that." Carter insisted, glaring at Rhett.

Misery whined softly, reaching for Carter.
Why couldnt Carter buy him?
Because Rhett would need money after Misery was gone.

Carter held the boy to his chest.
"How much do you want for him? I'll go into the billions." His voice was firm as he looked at Rhett with determined eyes. He meant business.

Rhett shook his head.
"Even Billions wont work fer whah ahll get sellin em. If ah give em up ah wont ave anoder source of mona."

"Simple. Come to me. You come to me whenever you need cash and I'll have it." He nodded

"Like whah? Ya wheh make paymant on em?"
Misery wasnt worth that.

"Sure. Anything it takes. I want him." He nodded firmly, still clutching the boy to his chest.

"Everything. Whatever you want I'll give for him." He nodded.

Misery whimpered, pressing closer to Carter.
"C-Carter...."
Rhett sat down, licking his lips.
"Come get his things, plus I need to talk to Kyndal about it."

"S'alright." He stroked Misery's hair and nodded at Rhett, following the large man home.

Misery sighed softly. Rhett his hard, harder than normal.
He was upset.
He took Carter into his home.
"Kyndal! c'mere short stack!"

Kyndal jogged in, peckign Rhett's cheek before eyeing Carter.
