"No momma... well just one more thing." He paused. "Cuddle me!" He smiled

Mike giggled, laying down and pulling Rick flush to his chest, pressing kisses into his baby's hair.
"I love cuddling my baby."

"I love cuddling you too momma." He smiled softly.

Mike hummed lightly, letting himself drift off to sleep.
Too bad he would need to get up early and go get Dustin ready.

Rick was asleep soon after, latching onto his mother.

Early that morning Mike was up, he made Alex stay with Rick while he got dressed and got ready to go, Kevin actually volunteering to help.
Anything to be far away from Rick.

But Rick was up nice and early too, wanting to help himself. He wanted to be over there...

But Mike, just in case, had Alex keep Rick there. He threatened to call Quincy if not. He also made a call to David, wanting to make sure someone was here if Rick needed them.

"Momma please let me go... I'll be stressed out worse if I stay back here..."

"Hell no, ill put you to sleep before I take you, if what he said happens and you let something happen to my grandchild, Rick you would not know what to do with me. Especially over this okay? Chris has several people caring for him, he doesnt need you, that baby needs you."

"I need to be there for him, I promised..." Rick shook his head firmly.

"Too bad Rick....Your not doing this, you could hurt the baby!" Mike glared at him, "Alex dont let him out of your site."

"Momma please! I'm beggnig here!" Rick frowned deeply, clutching onto Mike's hands.

Mike sighed, looking at the door.
"You come, but if you go into labor, you gotta swear to me you will do what I say no matter what Chris is doing you hear me Rick McGuire?"

"...fine." Rick grumbled, pouting lightly.

"Rick, you swear, and if you dont im taking Kevin and that kid from you. If you cant take care of it, ill get it taken care of. Your baby comes first, then your lover, then your brother."

Rick frowned but nodded.
"I swear..."

Mike nodded, picking Rick up, cradling him to his chest and walking out the door, Kevin following, his hand squeezing that of his fathers.

Rick cuddled into Mike's chest, humming softly as he was carried to his brothers home.

Dustin looked up, Quincy and Quinton were over here, Quincy holding Dustin's hand, he head on his older brothers chest, Quinton leaning on Quincy.

Chris stood on the other side, holding Dustin's other hand gently, caressing the back of it with his thumb. He just knew... this was it. And he hated it...

Dustin was laughing though, cracking jokes as his family sat with him.

Chris loved that about Dustin. Along with so many other things... How even in what was probably his last hours, he was joking around...

These was a knock at the door, then a louder one, then a high pitched women's voice coming through saying "Dustin Harper McDaniel's I know yall can hear up in there, yall had betta let meh an yalls paw in."
Quincy groaned, he and Dustin shaking their heads.
"Chris...Please go let momma in." Dustin wondered why everyone came to see him croak.

Chris nodded, groaning inside as he waddled to the door, opening it for his mother in law..
