His Eyes Say Yes

Gabriel actually had to turn his head. He couldn't watch..

Mike needed him though....
"Gabriel...Baby hold his head up for me..I need to get to his jaw."
Mike tilted Angel's head back, the boy had last consciousnesses but his eyes were still partially open.
They were a deep, lifeless looking blue.

Gabriel did as he was asked, his eyes shut tightly though.

Mike worked, moving around the bottom jaw, cringing as he pulled out a few shattered pieces from his cheeks and throat, fixing the small holes before running to get his drill and bolts.

Gabriel peeked at Angel and immediately regretted it. His poor litle face...

Mike chewed his lip, shaking his head.
"Ill have to make a new jaw...." He picked through his metal, running around the room, coating it with a nice layer of plastic and tweaking it, getting it into the perfect shape of Angel's jaw before removing the real one, working to attach gums and teeth to the fake one before he slipped it back into Angel's mouth, drilling bolts into bone to keep it together.

Gabriel swallowed andnodded as he watched this time, cringing occasionally.

Mike sewed the tiny boy up, gently moving his mouth, making sure the jaw moved easily.
"Okay so...he will stay here for a bit to heal up that mouth, no more than a day..."

"Alright.." Gabriel nodded, dragging a large hand down his face.

"You cannot give him food that involves a lot of chewing." The boy nodded, gently stroking Angel's hair.

"Okay I won't..." Gabriel nodded. "Thank you..."

"Your welcome baby. You cant give him pain pills right now but if he hurts I have suppositories you can give him."

"Okay..." He nodded, swallowing hard. He hated this..

Mike sighed softly, making sure Angel's head was tilted.
"Make sure his head is like that for he cant break alright? Come on, I have a bed you can sleep in, he wont be awake for a little while, ill even keep you company."

"Okay, thank you again." Gabriel sighed, following Mike.

Mike took the man to the kitchen, smiling at him.
"Hungry Babe?"
He was momma to everyone.

"not really, no." He shook his head, eyes scanning the home. "Could I actually use your phone a minute?"

"Uh sure honey." Mike handed the man his cell phone.

Gabriel called Zac and Quincy's house, waiting until Zac answered.
"Hello?" He chirped.
"Zac ... its Gabriel."
"Oh, hi. Whatcha need?"
"Can you put Gabriel on?"
"I don't know..."
"Please?"
"Okay..." Zac went and got his son, handing him the phone.

Gabriel took the phone, sitting in Calvin's lap.
"Hello? Babe you alright?" He frowned at Gabriel's voice.

"Yeah... I'm sorry for bugging you and tell Calvin I'm sorry too I just... need something to take my mind off Angel."

Gabriel nodded, looking up at his lover and kissing under Calvin's chin.
"Whats going on with Angel Gabe? He cheating on you again? Ill beat his fucking ass im telling you, put him in a room with me and ill teach that bitch a lesson."

Gabriel managed a small smile.
"No Gabe... I hit him again.. hard." He'd been doing so good lately..

"But....Well im sure he fucking deserved it. You have been doing really good lately, you wouldnt hit him just because." The boy frowned, a small pout on his face.

"I shattered his jaw... Mike had to put in a whole new fake jaw... I hit one of the voices... I didn't mean to hurt him." He sighed.
