He shut the door.
He then stepped outside their front door, making sure it locked behind him.

But if Gabriel was such a wonderful daddy...
How come now BOTH his children's bodies were littered with scars?

Gabriel swallowed, shaking his head.
"No... No I'm not... I..." He let this happen. It was his fault Blaine was a slave just like his momma had been... he was the worst daddy. He wanted to cry... But he never let his baby see him cry if he could help it. "C-come home?"
