Eventually Cade called Kelton's phone. He had texted him earlier telling him it was time for the reservations. After three hours of sitting at the restaurant and waiting he had called again.

Blaine grabbed the phone.
"Hellooooo...Wait." He looked around. "Kelton I gots your phone!! You and Barry stop whispering and come over here!"

"I texted you three hours ago... I've been waiting..." His hair was slicked back, he was in a tux and had Kelton's birthday present in his hand along with a bouquet of lilies... "Why are you over there?"

"Shit baby, my texting was on silent, it didnt ring, you should have called. Im here because I was alone...I didnt like it, I called Blaine, Barry picked up, somehow I got over here crying, eating nasty burnt cake and watching Barry sing. Where are you babe? Ill be there in just a few seconds." He chewed his lips.

"I'm at that fancy restaurant down the street from Mike and Alex's place..." He sighed softly as the waitress came by, asking if he was ready to order. For the fifteenth time he told her no.

Kelton, for the first time since meeting Cade, was wearing no piercings. He had taken them all out, and even went as far as to fix his hair back to the jet black it normally is. He looked....like him.
Not hiding behind his hair or his awesome piercings.
He looked.. NORMAL.
Kelton let his arms press Cade close.
"Hey baby..."

Inside was a smaller box. A black one. Inside of that box was a small diamond ring, a promise ring. There was also a ton of belly button piercings and one of those coupon books usually made by small children for their parents. The coupons were things like one free back rub, one free foot massage, one day at the spa. Then ten in a row were the same thing. They all said "Stay home with me pass." Cade whispered softly when he saw Kelton see them.
"That means.. any time momma or Blaine or anyone calls me... you use one of those and I will stay home no matter what." He nodded, pressing a kiss to his lips.

Kelton blinked at the content of the box, gently lifting out his coupons and letting his thumb stroke the paper. It was quiet, Kelton simply holding them, his face unreadable as he stared.
Cade...he would put Kelton first at least ten time....
And that meant EVERYTHING to Kelton...someone to be around and just....hold him when he needed it....
Soon a tiny droplet landed on the first of the coupons, Kelton's tears not fast, and not plentiful dripped down his face.
He didn't know what to say...
