First thing he did was text Ezra.

Ezra beamed, telling his parents he had to head out before packing up his things. They all hugged him and wished him luck before letting him go.
"They think Im going to New York." Ezra explained when he arrived at Alex's door with tons of luggage. "Sorry bout all this."
