"J-Joslin can be a slut. Jamie is my sweetheart..." The boy whispered brokenly.

"Yes baby, Jamie's all yours. Your the only one who will ever get Jamie..." He nodded.

Almost two years passed of this... Joslin was a slut but Jamie belonged to Dayton. They made love while Joslin fucked countless men.

He raised an eyebrow.

Dayton stood, dropping down on one knee and offering up the tiny black box.
"Will you...Marry me?

Joslin's breath caught in his throat.
"I-I...." He blinked. Oh it was so beautiful... But... "I can't Dayton..."

Dayton immediately looked heart broken,
He had spent everything on that ring...
And on this chance...hoping the answer was yes...
"J-Jamie...b-but..."

"Dayton..." He sighed, kissing the boy's temple. "I love you but I can't Dayton..."

Tears welled in the mans eyes as he nodded, dropping his hand and the ring.

It had been two years..

"Baby... I... I don't want to go but I can't hurt you anymore..." This had to be the end of their friendship... He pulled out a bracelet from his pocket. Just some black yarn with a charm of the letter J. He tied it around Dayton's wrist tight so it could not fall off. Dayton would have to purposely take it off. He already had one with the letter D around his own. "I can't chance being broken again babe. I don't want to be in a relationship.. Dayton, I’m gonna leave. I’m going to go somewhere with Avery, get a different house, go somewhere you can’t find me. I don’t want you to come after me. I’m not ready now but Dayton, the second I am, I will find you. I will come back for you and I’ll be yours. Now, if I come back and you’re already with someone, that’s okay. It’ll be my own dumb fault. If I come back and you hate me and never want to speak to me again, I understand. But you’re… probably the most important thing in my life besides Avery and I never want to forget you. I don’t want you to forget me either. So I got these… you keep this bracelet on unless you’re mad at me which I pray you aren’t. I’m never gonna take this off cause I’m always gonna love you, no matter what happens. Now give me a goodbye kiss… please…”

Dayton's eyes welled with tears that over flowed and slipped down his face.
Jamie was leaving..and taking Avery....

F-Fine...K-Keep the ring?" He asked softly, taking the ring in the palm on his hand and offering it to Jamie, He was holding off as long as he could on that kiss.
He didnt want to say goodbye...

"Dayton.... oh it looks so expensive... keep it babe..." He chewed his lips, his own eyes watering.

"Y-Your worth it....J-Just keep it? Its for you...." The boy sniffled softly, looking down at the ring with wet eyes.

"O-okay..." He nodded, taking the ring in his hand. "Its so beautiful... thank you..." He kissed his cheek.

Dayton nodded, pressing the boy close to his chest.
"D-Dont you let Avery forget about his D-Daddy Day-Day..."

"Of course not babe." He nodded, strokign Dayton's hair, tears sliding down his pale cheeks. He didn't want to go...

"A-And you remember to come b-back to me...S-Swear you wont forget me and find someone else...?" Dayton took his hand. "I-I need you..."

'I swear babe. As soon as I am ready for a relationship, I'll come back." he nodded, pecking his forehead.

"O-Okay..." He took Joslin's face in his hands, their lips meeting slowly, lovingly, sweetly...
Yet it was so heartbreakingly sad.
