"I know you don't honey. But it's gonna be okay me and daddy Evey are gonna be with you the whole time."

Dessi nodded. "I wanna see my daddy, carry me?" Dessi asked.

Randy nodded, scooping up Alanna and carrying her to Evan.

Dessi smiled at Evan. Hi daddy," Dessi said. "Hey princess," Evan smiled. "Daddy, play the song you wrote daddy Chrissy for me please?" Dessi asked. "I don't know baby," Evan replied. He didn't want to hurt Randy by playing it.

"Go 'head." Randy nodded.

Evan nodded and went after his guitar. He came back shortly and started to play.

Randy smiled as he felt the tears brimming his eyes.
"Didn't know you played guitar." He said hoarsely.

"Been playin' since I was her size," Evan said.

"You're good." He said, struggling to not cry again and upset Dessi.

Evan smiled. "I um.......I....wrote one for you," Evan stammered.

"You did?" Randy asked.

Evan nodded, blushing a bit.

"Can I hear it?"

"If you want," Evan said softly, starting to play.

Tears of joy rolled down Randy's cheeks. He set Dessi down for a moment and pulled Evan into a hug.
"I love you honey. I'm so sorry." He murmured.

Evan hugged Randy tightly. "I love you too," Evan said. "Don't be sorry, I'm the idiot that almost walked away from the best thing that ever happened to me."

"You are allowed to miss him. I'm sorry baby." He said kissing Evan softly.

Evan kissed Randy in return, tears streaming down his cheeks as they pulled apart.

Randy scooped Dessi back up and kissed her forehead.
"I love you too baby. I'm really sorry for the stuff I said about daddy Chrissy."

"It's okay daddy," Dessi smiled.

Randy smiled at her.

Dessi yawned. "I'm sleepy daddy," Dessi said.

"You wanna go back to bed sweety?"

"Uh huh," Dessi said, eyes half shut.

Randy carried her back to her bedroom and laid her down on the bed.
