Halloween Horror

Alex sighed.
"You know something's wrong don't cha?" He asked.

Alex Jr started screaming to, he was a baby, he didn't know much but he wanted his 'mommy'.

Alex lifted him in the other arm, cooing to them both.
"It's alright my babies. Shhhhhh." He whispered, kissing the top of both of their heads.

Mike slowly crawled from under the bed and walked closer to his babies. What Alex Jr saw his 'mama' at first he was going to cry until he momma held him but he didn't know who that person was it looked like his momma but his momma didn't have that thing on his face so, not knowing who Mike was, Alex Jr cried louder.

Alex laid Sydney back in the crib and held his little baby boy closer, patting his back.

Mike backed off, and soon Alex Jr quieted down. Mike went back under the bed and cried, he baby was scared of him.

"Mikey it's not your fault." Alex whispered so he didn't wake the now sleeping child on his shoulder.

"Don't bother." Mike sobbed, covering his face in his hands. He must look bad if his baby didn't even want to see him.

Alex sighed, there was nothing he could do while Mike was hiding like this.

Mike wouldn't make his baby see him like this anymore, God knows how scared his baby was and it was all his fault.

"You'll heal eventually baby." Alex cooed, feeling horrible that he had done so much damage to Mike's gorgeous face.

"D-Did you have to H-Hit me in the F-Face." Mike hiccuped, he would have perfered somewhere that didn't scare his baby to death.

Alex frowned, the pain in the pit of his stomach getting worse.
"I'm sorry baby."

Mike wanted to scream, tell Alex he should be sorry because now his baby couldn't even look at him.

"It'll be better soon. I promise. It doesn't look too bad." Alex reassured.

"Fuck that, I looked in the mirror." Mike cried, he knew he looked like shit.

"Honestly sweety, it'll be gone in no time." Alex lied.

"Don't pacify me!" Mike yelled at Alex from under the bed, sure he was still afraid but he didn't think Alex would reach him under here.

"Honey." Alex sighed.

"And dont ever touch me again!" Mike sobbed.

"I told you I won't baby." Alex wasn't sure what made him feel worse. When Mike was angry at him or when Mike was afraid of him.

Out of anger Mike spat. " I dont mean hitting me like you did, I mean touching me period!" Mike coughed, chocking on a sob. "I don't want you to touch me even if I was dying."

"O-okay." Alex croaked, and this time he was the one who went to the bathroom to cry.

Mike stayed under the bed, after the anger and subsided all that was left was the pain, the confusion, the heartbreak, Everything. Mike wanted to know why Alex would strike him, what he had done wrong to deserve that, and the pain of his baby crying because it seen his face, knowing who put that bruise there, not understanding how someone who was supposed to love him could hit him like that. Mike hated what happened last night, he hated that his baby could see him, but most of all, Mike hated himself.

Alex ended up falling asleep, curled up on the cold tile floor. He wanted to take back everything that had happened in the past day. His dreams were all nightmares that night. Mike leaving, Mike killing himself, Mike taking the children away, claiming that Alex wasn't a good father.
