Where'd You Go?

Two weeks. It'd been two weeks since Hailey'd gone missing after drama club. There'd been no sign of her at all since. Jeff paced the floor in the living room. He wanted his daughter back....

Mike was a mess, he didn't have the strength to get out of bed and face the day without him baby. And his husband was a wreck, Mike didn't know what to do, all he really could do was pray to God that there baby was okay and hope he listened.

"Where could she have gone?" Jeff sniffled. "She couldn't have gotten far, could she?"

Mike didn't answer simple because he didn't have one. Mike just turned away from Jeff and stared at the wall.

Jeff sighed softly and opened his arms. "C'mere baby," Jeff murmured.

Mike slowly crawled into Jeff's arms. It was better than being alone, curled up on the bed.

"We'll find her baby," Jeff murmured, wrapping his arms around Mike. "We'll find her."

Mike hadn't said much since Hailey had left, he was sort of mute. Shock did that. He is capable of it but he has not the will to do it. So he simply nodded.

Jeff sighed softly. "We're gonna be fine baby," Jeff said. "We're gonna be fine."

Mike turned so he was looking into Jeff's eyes and then he grabbed his note book in pen he had kept with him since he quit talking. Mike wrote.

Who are you trying to convince? Me or you?

Jeff swallowed hard and looked away. He couldn't answer that question.

Mike sat his note book down and leaned back against Jeff, his mind wondering off to the last time he had seen his baby.

Jeff sighed and walked toward Hailey's room, plopping down on her bed.

Mike sighed, he was alone now. Mike went back to the bed and curled up, a pillow over his head to hide the tears.

Jeff stared around the room. Would Hailey ever come back into that room?

Mike took out his note book and scribbled some words, they were just some thoughts but still, he needed to get them out.


Where'd you go? I miss you so, seem like its been forever that you've been gone. Where'd you go, I miss you so. Seems like its been forever, since you've been gone please come back home.....

Jeff's heart finally broke, his tears finally started to fall.

Mike's heart broke when he heard his husband crying. Mike wanted so much to comfort him, but that would mean going into Hailey's room and.............he just couldn't bare it.

Jeff slowly moped his way to his and Mike's bedroom. "Mikey...." Jeff whimpered.

Mike sat up and looked at his lover with sad eyes. Mike opened his arms up, seeng if Jeff wanted to be held.

Jeff practically collapsed in Mike's arms, sobbing. He couldn't do this.

Mike swallowed hard and held his husband, running his finger through Jeff's hair. Mike held Jeff tightly.

"I want our baby back," Jeff sniffled. "I want her back."

Mike nodded his head and bit his lip. Mike refused to cry, he had to be strong for Jeff.

"You can let it out angel," Jeff murmured. "Let it out."
