Cold As You.

Alex frowned and sat down beside Sydney. At least she was still his little daddy's girl.

"Can we go, I want to go throw the ball around? Cane we?" Alex asked excitedly. Daffy nodded and hugged Mike, "Love ya Michael, ill take care of him." Mike nodded,"I know." Alex hugged his mother and kissed Mike's cheek, then he and Daffy left.

"Mike, he totally hates me doesn't he?" Alex asked with a sigh.

"No baby, he doesn't hate you. You know better than that, but he doesn't have a reason to forgive you."

Alex nodded. He leaned over and pulled Sydney and his husband into a hug.

Mike wanted to cry, it just wasn't that same without his baby boy. Mike hid his face in the crook of Alex's neck.

"I love you both so much." Alex said, holding both of his crying babies tightly.

"Alex, by baby won't come home." Mike whimpered, he wanted his baby back.

"I miss him so much." Alex said, tears filling his own eyes. He would've been bawling by now but he didn't want to worry Sydney.

Mike kissed Sydney's cheek. "Baby, me and your daddy need to go talk, is that okay?' Mike asked his daughter.

She nodded, and with a sniffle sat back down.

Mike took Alex's hand and pulled him out of the room. "Baby, are you okay?" Mike asked, wiping the tears away with his thumb.

Alex let a few tears fall.
"I'm so happy you came back... I just wish he would too."

"I know Alex, I know." Mike hugged Alex tightly. "He loves you, he might not say it and he might not act like it but I know him, he loves you." Mike kissed Alex's lips softly, lovingly. "And I do to."

"I love you too." Alex smiled through the tears, he'd missed kissing his husband so much.

Mike smiled. "I missed you so much, I have barley slept in weeks without you here. Every night is hell on earth."

"Y'know you could've come back any time." Alex smiled but it slowly faded.
"I think Sydney's takin' it worse than me. She's so quick to forgive and forget. She doesn't realize you and Alex like to hold a grudge." Alex chuckled.

Mike quieted down, his shoulders slumped. "Some things are unforgivable and unforgettable." Mike muttered. "If I walked out on you, you might understand that."

"I was only kidding darling. I know how bad it hurt."

"No, No you don't and you never will." Mike rested his head against Alex's chest.

"Well I understand that it hurt and I don't blame you for being mad at me."

"You don't understand exactly what it was though. Hoe bad the hurt was, and the anger really want horrible, it was more like depression, I hated myself.....and it came back on you because you were the reason I hated myself a little at the time."

"Well I'm back now baby. And I'm never leaving again."

Mike scoffed. "And I am going to believe that why?" He asked because really he didn't believe him.

"You'll just have to stick around and see." Alex said, truthfully.
