"I missed you too Alex, so much." He whispered, holding his son as tight as possible.

"Daddy....I talked to momma while you were gone....about Daffy." Alex Jr swallowed. 'I wanted to know about what there relationship was like after I heard you guys talking tonight. Im a big boy, im 15 and ill be 16 soon so momma old me everything....."

"Alex, I appreciate that you want to tell me what you know but... can you keep this to yourself? At least for now."

Alex Jr shrugged. "It just helped me know a little bit about it and....why momma might be upset because he does have a history with him. But It didnt bother me to know about it because if momma wanted Daffy he would have him, but momma wants you and that's why he is still here, so im not worried, I wasn't worried to begin with.

"I know. It just hurts me to hear about your momma with someone else."

"I know I does and I didn't like that either but daddy.....one thing caught my eyes, kinda made my heart hurt. I know you would hate it but I wanted to cry for momma. He loves me and my sister so much, and the other two kids weren't even noticeable.

"Ah, he told ya bout that?" Alex raised an eyebrow, frowning.

"Well, I already knew momma was pregnant before us and the kids didn't make it but apparently he was pregnant when he was 19. He had the baby and everything....He even held it." Alex swallowed. "But it was....a steal born...."

"I know." Alex hated the fact that Mike had had Daffy's child but it still had to be hard.

"Daddy, are you mad at momma for it? He didn't even know you when this happened and.....regardless think of how bad that hurt momma."

"Course I'm not mad at him for it. I just don't like who the father was. But I know it had to be hard."

"I know.....but daddy....it kills me to think about it, you lost your first two....but you didnt hold them, or even really have evidence they were there....and you weren't around and no one helps momma like you do."

"Alex, can we please not talk about this?" Alex said, eyes welling up.

"Okay.......I didnt really want to talk about it either but I dont like the thought of Momma in there alone....dwelling on it."

"Me either... I just stopped crying though, I'd rather not start again."

"Okay daddy." Alex murmured as sleep took over. Alex snored slightly and snuggled closer.

Alex gave a small smile as he held his son.
"Love you sweety." He cooed.

Mike sat on his son's bed, looking at two different pictures. "There was one of the pictures he always had on him. It was a picture of him and Alex soon after they were married. The other was a picture of him and Daffy. Mike was standing and Daffy and his ear pressed against Mike's pregnant belly. Mike sighed and rubbed his eyes. He would need to burn this one.

Alex stood and quietly walked into the room where his husband was laying.
"Hey, you awake?" He whispered.

"Yeah......." Mike whispered in response, he back turned to Alex. Mike put his pictures away.

"Kay, well tell me whenever I can come in and talk to you." Alex said quietly.

"What do you want to talk about......" Mike questioned lowly. He was stlil upset.

"Anything you'll talk to me about." Alex said and he meant it.

"You didn't want to talk to me earlier." Mike pointed out, he knew he always seemed to be upset but he had just lost what felt like family so he really didnt give a flying fuck.

"What do you mean?" Alex furrowed his brow, confused.
