Mike looked around in wonder. The place was so homey and comfortable. He really liked it here.

Jay smiled and before he could answer he heard a bark and Rusty came running up and tackled him "hey boy" laughed Jay "Mike this is Rusty"

Jay grinned and led Mike to the kitchen "this is my kitchen, i love to cook when i'm at home"

He grew up in Ohio, he did most of the cooking.

Mike grinned, he loved this place, he felt so at home in it. He held Jays hand tighter.

Jay smiled and continued the tour "and upstairs there is the master bedroom and two guest bedrooms but one is for my brother when he visits"

Mike froze as all color left his face, he stared at Jay with wide eyes.
No one told Mike they loved him.
They always left after they did that...
He would not except it.
Mike looked around nervously before side stepping Jay and going back to the living room.

Mike looked up as he heard the knock on the door. He had to wonder who it was and if he was welcome in the house anymore.
