Let Him Cry

Jay quickly got a cool wet cloth and gently placed it on Mike's back. He softly whispered soothing words, trying to comfort Mike.

Mike shrieked and jerked away.
"H-Hospital NOW!" Mike choked out as he withered in pain.

Jay hurried and got Mike into the car, soon he got him to the hospital. Rafe followed in his own car.

They immediately took Mike away from Jay and into the back. He had 2nd degree burns that were sure to scar, they festered and bleed, Mike was in an unimaginable amount of pain.

Jay sat waiting for the doctor to say he could see Mike, he had yet to say anything to Rafe who was standing a few feet away.

The doctor wanted him to wait. Mike had passed out due to the intense pain and the doctor wanted him to rest.

"Jay i'm sorry." said Rafe softly, Jay glared at his brother and said "Get the hell away from me." "Jay please." said Rafe softly, Jay just turned away from Rafe, Rafe sighed and turned to leave the guilt and hurt he felt showly in his eyes.

Mike was still out of it. He laid limply on his stomach in his bed.

Jay sighed when he was finally told he could go and sit with Mike, he sat next to Mike and gently held his hand.

Mike let his eyes open, his hand laying limply in Jay's hand.
"Sorry....."

Jay shook his head "Mikey you have nothing to be sorry for." he said softly.

"He kissed me....."
Mike's eyes were unfocused and hazy as he looked at his lover warily.

"I'm not mad at you for what he did Mike." said Jay sadly, he was hurt that Rafe had done tho.

"Apparently I shouldn't have been worried about him liking me......" Mike sighed, it wasn't funny at all.

Jay sighed "I'm sorry Mike." he said softly, not sure what was going to happen now. Rafe sighed as he got in his car, he was going to grab his bag and leave. He knew Jay wouldn't want him there anymore.

"What are you going to do with your brother?" Mike wondered aloud as he turned his head to look at his lover.

"I don't know." said Jay as he looked away "He hurt me alot by doing what he did but he's my brother and i love him."

"Yeah...I just don't know how he could do that thought...He kissed your PREGNANT FIANCE."

Jay sighed "Rafe's never been one to think things thru and he gets these crushes on people he shouldn't or can't be with."

"But I am your fiance, im pregnant with your baby....He needs to apologize to you, soon imma be Mr. Mike Reso..he needs to know better Jay."

"I know Mike." said Jay then he sighed "He tried to apologize to me and i yelled at him."

"I can understand that. Im yours, your fiance, im carrying your baby...he deserved it..."

Jay gently kissed the hand he was holding "I love you." he said softly, he knew it was his fault Mike was in the hospital right now.

"I love you too, more than anything Jason." Mike didn't think it was Jay's fault,he had just been dumb by falling over the frying pan.

Jay smiled softly at his lover, soon to be husband and mother of his child.
Rafe sighed as he quickly packed his stuff up.
