Will You Be My Savior?

Melody and Jeff waited on the couch. Melody was dressed in her costume.

Matt walked in and saw Jeff and Melody on the couch, "what going on?" asked Matt when he saw Melody in a doctors coat

"Well, Melody wanted to play," Jeff said, grinning broadly. "and we thought it only fair since you made her get poked, that she got to poke you."

"wait what?" asked Matt a little bit confused

"She has a plan on how all this is gonna work," Jeff explained. Melody nodded. "Jeffy's gonna be your daddy, you're as widdle as I am and you's sick," Melody began. "You don't wants to go to the doctor though, you's scared, but Jeffy makes ya and you comes sees me."

Jeff nodded. "Different places in the house are different places either at home or the doctor's office. " Jeff continued. "Our room is your bedroom, the couch is the car, the kitchen is the waiting room, and the guest bedroom is the doctor's office," Jeff said.

Melody nodded happily. "Me and Jeffy already picked what's wrong with you too," Melody said, handing the colored index cards to Jeff.

Jeff nodded, reading from them. "The fever is a given, but other than that you have.......a sore throat......a cough......and a stomachache," Jeff said.

Matt sighed and looked at Jeff "do i have to Jeff?"

Jeff whispered something to Melody and she ran off, leaving the two alone. "Matt, the girl's been traumatized enough, all she wants is to have a little fun, can't you do that for her?"

Matt sighed feeling guity "ok Jeffro, but only for Melody."

Jeff smiled. "I'll make it worth your while later baby," Jeff whispered to him.

Matt smiled and said "you better ." than he kissed Jeff and said " lets get this started."

Jeff smiled, scoping Matt up into his arms. It wasn't often that he could carry Matt like this, it was normally the other way around, but he enjoyed it when he got the chance. "Let's get you in bed so I can come wake you up so you can be all sick and stuff hm?" Jeff asked, gently placing a kiss on Matt's forehead.

Matt smiled at Jeff and said "ok Jeffro."

Jeff smiled and lied Matt down on the bed tucking him in. "I'm gonna go let Melody know we're ready, then I'll be back to 'wake you up'," Jeff said.

Matt snugged under the blankets and said "alright hurry up Jeff."

"I'll be right back Mattie, I promise," Jeff said, darting out of the room.

Matt smiled and hoped Jeff would return quickly

Jeff went in and told Melody that they were starting then he quietly walked up the stairs to wake his "son." He lightly tapped on the door. "Matt....." Jeff called softly.

"Jeff." asnswered Matt "i dont feel good."

Jeff walked in and sat down next to Matt, stroking his long raven hair. "Awwww, what's the matter Mattie?" Jeff asked.

"my stomach aches and my throat hurts." answered Matt

Jeff placed a gentle hand on Matt's forehead and sighed. "Darlin, you're burnin' up," Jeff said. He stood up slowly. "You stay here, I'm gonna go find the thermometer."

Matt nodded and said "ok jeff."

Jeff walked out of the room and grabbed one of the toy thermometers that he and Melody had preset to read Matt's fever. He walked back into the room and sat back down with Matt again. "C'mere darlin," Jeff drawled softly, stroking Matt's hair again. "Open up."

Matt opened his mouth and let Jeff put the toy thermometer in his mouth

Jeff smiled, still stroking Matt's hair soothingly. "Just relax darlin," Jeff said. He waited a minute or two before removing the thermometer from Matt's mouth. He shook his head. "That's pretty high Mattie," Jeff drawled softly. "We should get you to a doctor."
