The Skeleton In His Closet

Jeff stared down at the stack of letters on the table in front of him. Fourteen days, fourteen letters. It had been years since he'd heard from the man that had taken his innocence from him when he was sixteen, now he was claiming he was "Coming for what was his." Jeff was terrified.

Frankie sighed he knew that there something wrong but everytime he asked Jeff pushed him away but he decided to try again he knocked on Jeff's door "Jeff can i come in?" he asked

Jeff stuck the letters in the drawer of his bedside stand. "Sure darlin," Jeff said, grabbing his song book and trying to act normal.

Frankie sighed and entered the room "baby is there something wrong?" he asked softly

Jeff shook his head. "Nothing's wrong baby," Jeff lied. "Why would you think something's wrong?"

"because you seem so nervous all the time baby, please if there's something wrong tell me so i can help you"

"I'm fine baby," Jeff continued his lies. "You worry too much darlin."

Frankie sighed he knew Jeff was lying but he didn't know what to do

Jeff's eyes drifted toward the drawer. He couldn't get his mind off the letters, off the man that had written them.

Frankie saw Jeff look at the drawer "Jeff what are you hiding in there?" he asked

Jeff bit his lip. Frankie could not read those letters. "N-Nothing," Jeff stammered.

Frankie sighed "Jeff please don't lie to me i just want to help"

"It's nothing you need to worry about baby," Jeff said. "Really."

"why don't you trust me Jeff?" Frankie asked softly

"I do trust you," Jeff said. "It's just..........only Matt knows about this."

Frankie sighed he just wanted to help "baby please i'm worried about you"

Jeff shook his head. "If you get involved he'll hurt you too," Jeff said. He'd already said too much.

Frankie gently placed his hand on Jeff's cheek "who's he baby and has he hurt you before?" he asked softly

"I can't tell you who he is, but I can tell you he has hurt me before," Jeff said.

Frankie growled softly he was going to kill the man that had hurt Jeff

Jeff whimpered at the growl. It sounded so much like Scott it scared him.

Frankie quickly realized he was scareing Jeff and stopped "Jeff baby i'm sorry" he said softly

Jeff pulled his knees to his chest and closed his eyes, memories of Scott's attack quickly flooded his mind.

Frankie gently touched Jeff's arm "baby?" he asked softly "baby please talk to tell me who did this to you"

Jeff shook his head wildly. "He'll hurt you," Jeff whimpered. "He's already coming for me...."
