I Know You From Somewhere

Matt woke up slowly and found he could remember nothing he looked at the people stand at his bedside in confusion

"Mattie?" Evan asked, seeing the confusion in the older man's eyes.

Matt looked at Evan and asked "who are you and who's Mattie?"

Evan's heart stopped when he realized Matt didn't know who he was, he didn't even know his own name. He blinked back the tears in his eyes. "Matt....." Evan whimpered.

Matt looked at Evan he thought he knew him from somewhere "who are you people and who am i?" he asked his head hurting

Evan wanted to lose it right then, but he couldn't, somebody had to help Matt. "Your name is Matt, Matthew Moore Hardy," Evan said. He pointed to the man on the other side of the bed. "That's your brother, Jeff."

Matt sat a minute and tried to digest the imformation but he couldn't remember the man call Jeff

Evan looked at Jeff and shook his head. "Do you remember anything, anything at all?" Evan asked.

Matt shook his head "no i don't i'm sorry but i don't"

Evan sighed. "It's okay Matt, we'll help you," Evan said. "We'll help you."

Matt looked at Evan "you never told me who you are" said Matt

"Well, my name is Matthew Korklan, but most people know me by my ring name Evan Bourne," Evan began. "You and I are together."

Matt nodded but he wasn't remembering anything

Evan sighed, there had to be a way they could help.

Matt sat on the bed trying to to remember anything

Jeff sighed. I'm gonna go home and make sure Lucas and the other dogs are fed, I'll bring some photo albums back with me," Jeff said. Evan nodded. "Alright, thanks Jeffro."

Matt sighed he was trying to remember but there was nothing he didn't even know how he ended up here "why am i in the hospital?" he asked Evan

"You were in an accident Matt," Evan replied. "You were on your way to see me and lost control of the car." Evan sighed softly. "Today's our anniversary," he added.

Matt looked at Evan "i'm sorry i don't remember" then his eyes well up "i don't like feeling like this feeling empty"

Evan simply nodded, not realizing a few tears were making their way down his cheeks. He wanted to hold Matt close to him, to take the empty feeling away but he wasn't sure if Matt would want that since he didn't remember him.

Matt felt tears falling "why cant i remember?" he asked sadly

"You hit your head pretty hard Mattie," Evan said, trying to keep his voice from cracking.

Matt sighed and wiped his eyes he looked at Evan and asked "how long have we been together?"

"Three years today," Evan smiled, wiping his eyes as well.

Matt felt so empty "oh" he whispered softly
