"Thank you." Drew smiled and walked into the bathroom. He sighed as he stripped down and turned the water on.

Mike waited patiently for his lover as he watched Paige sleep. You could tell she was not his, she had many characteristics of that man.

Drew cried in the shower but if someone was watching they wouldn't be able to tell. The water spewing from the faucet blended in with his tears. Drew finished up and walked out to Mike.

Mike met him with a smile. He kissed Drew's cheek and quickly left for work.
On his way home he picked up a single red rose for his fiance.

Drew watched Paige for a while before she fell asleep again. He put her to bed and waited for Miek

Like Mike had said he greeted Drew with a tired smile. He kissed his lips and handed him the rose.

"Baby, what's this for?" Drew smiled, twirling the rose in between his fingers.

"We have been together for a year today." Mike grinned, he had remembered because the day Drew kissed him is the day he felt he had a future.

Drew beamed.
"I need to buy you an anniversary present."

Mike smiled softly.
"You are better than any present I could ever receive."

"Well I still want to get you something." Drew frowned.

Mike chuckled and handed Drew his own wallet. Mike had stopped and gotten this. He wanted Drew to always have money when he needed it.
"Here, I worked the weekend last week so I could scrounge up two hundred more dollars from the boss and We have our own bank account. You have a card and everything. This wallet is for you and I already have two hundred bucks in it."
Mike was not the kind of man t make his husband ask for money. If Drew needed it he knew how to get it.
The wallet was blue and white with the initials DSM on the front of it.

"Oh Mike. You didn't have to do that, you already do so much." Drew smiled at his fiance.

Mike grinned.
"No I didn't but I did. I hope you like it."
Everything he did he did for Drew and their baby.

"I don't like it... I love it. I love you and everything you do for me and Paige." Drew held Mike tightly.

Mike laughed and snuggled into his fiance's arms. This was one of the rare times he didn't feel fifty, didn't carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, didn't worry about money. In Drew's arms he was just Mike.
