Misfit

Matt sighed. But he couldn't wait any longer, he would be late for his shift.
"Well I love you. Call me if you need anything."

Quinton went up to his balcony and watched with tear filled eyes as his lover left. Quinton didn't like to cry but Quincy was taking away Matt, his lover and the only thing that made him happy.

Matt was quite grumpy all day at work.
"Quincy... is something wrong with your brother?" He asked.

"Depends, why would you think there was?"
He knew it was something, he had talked to him and even over the phone he sounded upset.

"He's just very quiet, well more than usual. And distant all the time, even with me."

"Yeah, somethings wrong then....Has he cried any? He never cried unless there really is a problem. When he is upset he wont yell or be mean he will just be distant and quiet."

"I haven't seen him cry but I think I heard him last night..." Matt frowned.

Quincy looked at him weird.
"You think? Well what did it sound like?"
How did anyone think they heard crying and wasn't sure when the person was in bed next to them.
"But if you did there IS a problem because I am his brother and I am usually with him and I have only seen him cry once."

"Well it probably was. I guess I just didn't really want to believe he was crying." Matt sighed.

"You share a bed, and you hear him crying, and you ignore it?"
Knowing Quinton he was rather happy Matt ignored it.

"I try to talk to him, but he just says nothings wrong.." Matt sighed, feeling like a bad lover.

"He's like that, he dont want to worry you and when there is something wrong he feels its his fault." Quincy sighed.

"Well I'll talk to him tonight... You have any idea what the problem is?" He asked.

"Well, you spend all day here and sometimes alot of the night here and he is leaving soon. He is home alone all day, nothing to think about but you, and the fast aproaching day he is leaving."
They were twins they knew this stuff.

Matt frowned.
"I might ask if I can have a few days off... at least until he leaves."

"Do you even know when he is leaving?"
Quincy did.

"Not the exact date... he hasn't mentioned it." Matt said. "Do you?"

"When do you get off? Six in the morning or is that Mike?"
Quinton was leaving tomorrow.

"Yeah. At six. Why?" Matt asked, getting more worried.

"He will be on his was to the airport by six. You didn't ask? Im he ha it marked or a caleder or something."

"A-are you serious?!" Matt exclaimed. He didn't want Quinton to leave. Especially not mad at him.
"Fuck I... I gotta go see him before he goes!"

"Well you need to talk to the boss, its already five. He will be packing and getting ready."

And he was.

"Shit." Matt quickly ran back and talked to the boss who agreed to let him off an hour early.

Quinton wrote him a note and stuck it on the door before leaving to go to the airport.

Dear Matt,

I have to go now, I am going to miss you. Please write whenever you get a chance. I hope work ws okay.
It was all he could write without crying.

By the time Matt was in his car he figured it would make more sense to just go straight to the airport.
