What Next?

"I'm aware." Zack snarled as he searched for another hospital. He was NOT a happy person.

Maryse was trying to make Mike comfortable, all he did was lay his head in her lap and groan in pain. She carded her fingers through his hair as she cursed.
"Nearest hospital is an hour away...."

"Alright then. Unless you want us to crash, trade places with me. You drive and I'll hold him." Zack said. He couldn't concentrate when he was constantly glancing back at Maryse holding HIS boyfriend.

"Zack....I can't drive a stick shift, I can barley drive my own car, much less a truck." She sighed and looked down at Mike. "Shit....You still don't trust me...." She bit her lip. "My car is thirty minutes the other way..."

Zack growled.
"No. I do not... Trying to ignore it but it's not as easy as it looks."

"Well fuck, I can't drive this truck unless you want to die."
Mike moaned in agony.

"Well we're going to die anyways. Cause I have to keep my eyes glued back there." Zack said through gritted teeth.

Zack damnit, He is just laying here, he is too sick for me to bother him. I mean look at him." She looked down as Mike who was a trembling ball on the seat and her lap.

Zack simply grumbled.
"That does not mean I have to like it."

"Z-Zack....I dont feel so hot..." Mike was freezing but his skin was on fire.
Maryse sighed.
"Son accord Mikey, Zack va prendre soin de vous. Il vous aime. Il vous permet d'obtenir des prises en charge."((Its okay Mikey, Zack will take good care of you. He loves you. He will get you taken care of.)) Maryse cooed to her sick friend.

"I know baby." Zack frowned. Then his eyes narrowed. "English please." He didn't like not knowing what she was saying to his boyfriend.

She rolled her eyes and glared.
"The french soothes him, he likes it."
Mike whimpered. He wanted his lover.

"Sounds like he likes it." Zack rolled his eyes.

Mike started coughing, his throat rattled and he clutched his chest, his eyes watered. He was in pain and them bickering didn't help.

Zack frowned back at him. He wanted to comfort his boyfriend but couldn't.

Mike tried to sit up but then his head throbbed so he laid back down.
"M-Maryse...you remember that night in L.A.? At the club?"
"Yes..."
"Its alot like drive a gear shift."
She nodded.
"Pull over Zack." She ordered.

Zack pulled over to the side of the road.
"What?" He asked, turning around to face her.

She got out and opened the drive's door.
"Get out. You take Mike, ill....ill try to drive."

Zack stepped out.
"Please, TRY not to wreck my car. It's my baby." He smirked as he climbed in the back with Mike.

She put a hand on her hip.
"Mike is your baby, and he is a living thing, you worry about him." He got in the truck and just stared at it. Mike groaned as he sat up only enough so he could whisper to Maryse. He took her hand and put it on the stick.
"This is me..."
She smiled as he remembered and listened. He he put her into the first gear. "That was my lollipop..."
Switched to second.
"That is my trigger...."
Third gear.
"You got the magic stick...."
Maryse giggle as she started the truck and got back on the high way. Mike let himself fall over on Zack.
"I don't feel good..." He whined.

"Yes I do. But this thing is also my baby." Zack grumbled as he stroked Mike's hair. He had no clue what Mike just said meant but he did not like it. At all.

Maryse rolled her eyes.
"Gosh Mikey, you are in competition with a truck and that Rosa bitch." Her eyes were on the road as he hummed a tune. Mike ignored her and rested on Zack's chest.

"Fuck off. Mike is more important than both of them. Rosa's been with me since I was six and you saw what I just did. All for him."

She giggled and started at the thing gear.
"Maryse...." Was she having problems?
She grinned and sung. "Maryse not a whore

Zack snarled. So, he couldn't stay friends with Rosa but Mike could stay friends with Maryse? That was fair... NOT.
And, as always Rosa was right on time. His phone rang. He didn't bother looking who it was, he answered, but kept one arm around Mike.
"Hello?"
"Damnit, I need caller ID. I'm not in the mood Rose."
"I don-"
"Dam-"
"Ca-"
"Can you let me finish for god's sake!"
"You can't talk to him like that."
"WHY?! Because I love him."
"USED to love you."
"Yes, I would."
"But I can't."
"Because I said so."
"Look, we'll talk later."
"Bye."
Zack hung up and put his phone in his pocket.
