Rayner breathing was labored. Sweat poured off his body. He groaned slightly, the pleasure disappearing, only to be replaced with a dull ache.

Jay pulled out gently and laid next to Rayner "that was amazing" whispered Jay feeling sleeply pulling Ranyer into his arms

"Yeah...it was" He replied, trying to catch his breath.

Jay yawned softly and snuggled close to Rayner closeing his eyes and slowly falling asleep

Minutes later sleep had also taken Rayner as he slipped off into dream land.

*The next morning*

Rayner eyes fluttered over. He stretched lightly, causing pain to shoot up his spine. Confused he opened his eyes fully. This was his apartment. Feeling a limp of warmth beside him, he rolled over. Jay was lying next to him.

A pang of guilt stabbed him in the chest. Jay was one of his best friend, he didn't feel that way about him.

Shakily he slipped out of the bed and gathered his clothes. He silently exited the room. He let out a sad sigh before entering the elevator and closing the doors.

Jay woke up alone it took him a second to remember what happened when he did he noticed Rayner was gone "Rayner" he said sadly a tear falling

Rayner slid down the wall of the elevator, his face in his hands. He felt awful.

Jay wiped the tear away only for it to be replaced by others

Rayner punched the elevator wall before the door opened. He walked out and dashed for his car. He had to get away. He turned on the ignition and sped towards his apartment.

Jay cried for a little while he had thought Rayner would aleast stay to talk about it

He threw his apartment door open and flopped down on bed. He groaned before punching the pillow. He was such an awful friend. He never was one for a fuck and run, but...he couldn't face Jay in the morning. He was pulled out of his thoughts by the sound of his phone ringing.

Jay waited as the phone rang he hope Rayner would pick up

Rayner picked up the phone and looked at the caller ID. He let out a small sigh before throwing the phone across the room. He couldn't talk to Jay, he had to avoid him.

Jay sighed as the phone went to voicemail but he left a message "hey Rayner its me Jay please call me back" then he hung up the phone sadly

Rayner let out a small sob as he heard the voice mail. He was such a coward.

*13 weeks later*

3 Months. It had been 3 months since Rayner had last seen Jay. He sat bewildered on his bed, staring at the piece of paper he held in his hand. He couldn't......he....he had to see Jay. He pulled on a baggy shirt and pants before gathering his things.

Sighing he left his apartment and headed for Jays. The elevator ride was awkward. Other people living in the hotel were staring at him. He exited the elevator and stood before Jays door. Taking a deep breath he knocked on the door.

"coming" yelled Jay as he opened the door, "Rayner?" he asked softly when he saw Rayner standing there

"Hi Jay" Rayner said softly as he looked at his feet.

"it been a while" said Jay softly "how you been?"

"Yeah...it has been a while" He said scratching his head. He didn't know who to tell Jay. "Umm I've been well....got sick a few weeks ago and...I need to talk to you"
