Alone...

Mark was about to answer when he noticed Trent's rod. "You got something." He alerted the smaller man.

Trent noticed this and attempted to reel his line in but whatever it was, was not coming out of the water without a fight.

Mark scooted over to him and wrapped his arms around Trent's waist and pulled.

Trent gave a small smile as he continued to tug on the line with Mark behind him.

The fish was not coming up, if anything it was pulling them closer to the edge of the boat.

Trent was pulled to the edge of the boat. He went to stumble over and tried to grab onto Mark to hold himself upright. But he only ended up pulling them both over the edge into the water.

Mark came up imidiately before going down and pulling Trent with him. Glen and Michael were on the boat ready to help. Mark cursed, these were dangerous waters, sharks were known to be everywhere. He quickly lifted Trent up to Glen whosat him on the boat as something brushed Mark's leg.

Trent was panicking. He knew there were sharks down there.
"Mark! Get in the boat!" He exclaimed

Mark was trying, something was circling him, he could feel it. Glen and Michael were both reaching out to him as he felt something bite down on his calf anf drag him under the dark blue water. He was to frightened and shocked to feel much. It was quick, it bit him and pulled and then it simply let go. Mark quickly swam to the surface, Glen and Michael struggled to pull him up but finally he was in the boat.

Trent sat there completely shocked and horrified. He eventually crawled over to check on Mark.

Mark was calm as usual. He simply told Glen and Michael to take him to land because sharks have bacteria among other things in their teeth and he would like to have his leg taken care of, he didn't know how bad it was. So they turned the boat around for him. Both worried sick.

Trent felt horribly guilty.
"I'm so sorry Mark. It's my fault. It was just reflex to grab onto something and you were right there. And I didn't mean to pull you in and..." Trent continued to babble on about how sorry he was.

Mark simply smiled at him and wrapped him up in a hug. "Its okay, im not mad at you, im happy your okay."

"But I'm mad at myself... you're hurt." He frowned.

"He barely did anything. He let go after just a few seconds. Im fine." Mark kissed is cheek.

"And I ruined the whole fishing trip... I'm sorry." Trent sighed as he rested his head on Mark's shoulder.

"Trent, you tried to catch a fish, not like you had a fit. It can't be helped. I had a good time, I hope you had a good time. I know dumb and dumber had a good time. Its fine."

Trent nodded with a sigh. He still felt guilty but if Mark wasn't mad he wouldn't dwell aloud.

Mark frowned at him. "If I kiss you will you smile at me?"

Trent chuckled.
"Well yeah, but I'm not in the mood to smile."

Mark frowned and crossed his arms, pretending to pout.
"Fine then, ill keep my kisses to myself."

"Okay, I lied. I'll smile so kiss me." He smirked.

Mark grinned and softly pressed his lips to Trents. He was really liking this man.

As promised Trent grinned widely and took Mark's hand again.

Mark brough Trent's hand to his lips and kissed it softly. "There's that smile."
