Re: Fall For You
Mike fell asleep soon after, curled into the ball, looking like the submissive one he was originally supposed to be.

Drew smiled at him but sighed.
Mike was too fragile to be the man.

And he truly was, Mike was far to fragile to be doing all this but he had to and for Drew he would, even if it was killing him.

Re: Fall For You
Drew contemplated sneekign out and applying for a job but he was afraid of upsetting Mike. Soon he fell into a restless sleep.

Re: Fall For You
Mike simply would not wake up the next day. He was just out if it, he was making up for all the sleep he lost during the week.

Drew sighed. He knew Mike was tired so he got up with Paige and made her breakfast. Then played with her outside.

"Mike was still asleep at seven at night. He was out of it, he needed the sleep or else he would not make it through the week.

Re: Fall For You
Drew frowned as Mike was still sleeping at seven. He wanted his husband, especially after the last nights events but he knew he needed sleep. So he simply played with Paige all day, only pausing to eat.

Mike didn't wake up, not even the next morning when his alarm clock went off, witch was strange, Mike always got up for the alarm clock.

Re: Fall For You
It was all Drew could do not to start crying in front of Paige. Especially with the constant flashes of James that would appear around the house. It was ridiculous how much Drew needed Mike but he refused to wake him.

Re: Fall For You
Paige was currently sleeping. Drew was on the couch watching television when James appeared beside him.
Every time Drew saw James, the touches got worse. Kisses on the hand, forehead, temple, cheek... And now James was going for the final one.
He kissed Drew square on the lips. Drew whimpered and James was gone as suddenly as he had arrived. His lips burned unbearably. As did his cheeks, forehead, temples and hands. No amount of showering had been able to make it stop. Drew was done.
He grabbed his laptop and went to google.
"How to get rid of a ghost." He typed in and hit search.
He meant buisness. He clicked on the first result and an entire list of ways said to get rid of a ghost or spirit popped up. He read the intro with slight boredom.
"If your ghost is a problem, here's what to do. You'll probably want to print out this page, as it offers many solutions from our research as well as folklore. Start with one or two of these remedies. It should not be necessary to use them all."
Drew nodded and did print off the page.
"Okay." He stood in the center of the room and read off the first remedy.
"Speak to the ghost, out loud. Shout, if you feel you must. Explain to your ghost that you live there now and he/she is doing things that bother you. Explain exactly what those things are. Ask the ghost to stop immediately. If you want the ghost to leave altogether, you need to say that.
This usually works. However, some ghosts won't take you seriously, and you may need to remind it to leave you alone several times before it stays away."
Drew groaned and crossed this off the list. He'd told James to stay away several times.
"2: Holy Water is another tried-and-true remedy for ghosts.
Respectfully and quietly enter your nearest Catholic Church, carrying a small jar or bottle from home. Somewhere in the public area, there will be a large container of Holy Water, usually stainless steel with a cross and a spigot on it.
Fill your container with Holy Water. It's nice to leave a small donation for this, too. (A dollar or two is customary.)
Upon returning home, pour a liberal amount of the water into a small bowl. Dip your fingers into the water, and stand in any doorway in the house.
Make a broad Sign of the Cross in the doorway, allowing the water to fly off your fingers as you gesture. (If you don't know how to make a Sign of the Cross, ask any Catholic.)
It can be helpful to add an out-loud prayer, such as "I bless this house in the name of Jesus," or, "I banish all evil spirits from this home, in the name of God," or something like that.
(If you feel silly saying this, and can't help laughing as you do it, don't do it. This is not a light or casual ritual.)
Do this in every doorway, interior and exterior. Also do this at every window; don't forget the attic and the basement."
Drew cursed under his breath. He did not have time to go get holy water.
"3:Garlic
Don't laugh! Garlic is a tried-and-true repellant for unpleasant spirits of all kinds. Hang one clove (not an entire bulb) in each doorway and window where you need protection. A clove in your pocket is a good idea, too.
If you believe in folk magick, you can create a small pouch with several protection herbs in it, including five-finger grass, cinnamon, and echinacea. However, don't overdo this. The point is to repel ghosts, not drive everyone away from you! *grin*
Along the same lines, hematite is a folk remedy too. Wearing it, or even carrying a piece of this unusually heavy black stone, will--according to legend--absorb evil energy. This won't get rid of the ghost, just the negative effects of it."
Drew nodded. Now that one could work.He had all of these things around the house. Even the hematite. His mother had collected stones like that. He circled the number three in pen.
"4:The shoe remedy
This one sounds silly but gets great results among our readers: When you go to bed at night, set out the shoes you'll wear in the morning. Place them at the foot of your bed, on the floor, with one shoe pointing one way, and the other shoe pointing the opposite way.
According to folklore, the ghosts get so confused by this, they leave after a few nights." Drew shrugged. A bit silly but he'd try anything. He circled the number 4 also.
There was something about convex mirrors, and incences but Drew didn't have time for those either. Drew grinned when finally sometihng caught his eye.
"Randomly toss rice, split peas, sand, salt (but not sugar as it leaves a sticky residue), coffee beans or grounds, or anything small and granular, on your kitchen floor when you go to bed at night (if that's when the ghosts are most bothersome).
According to folklore, the ghosts will pause to count the grains of whatever-it-is. They aren't very good at counting, so they have to start over again, repeatedly, or they forget the numbers.
Clean up the mess in the morning, and do the same routine again at night.
After a few nights of this, the ghosts will leave.
One variation of this is to hang a vial or tube of sand in the window of any haunted room. You can use a cheap test tube from a chemistry kit (or a feeding vial for hamsters, for example), or any similar small container.
You can use a thin ribbon and a pushpin to hang it in the window.
Like the grains of rice on the kitchen floor, any entering ghost has to pause to count the sand granules. After a few nights, he'll give up and haunt somewhere else.
These counting remedies come from a variety of cultures, including Irish and Native American, so this may be a reliable way to rid the house of ghosts."
He'd try this too.
He skimmed through this rest and shuddered at the ending paragraph.
"If none of these remedies works and you still have a significant, perhaps life-threatening problem, ask a Catholic priest to find out who is authorized to do exorcisms. However, they will perform this rite only if the case is documented and extreme."
He sure hoped these worked.

Re: Fall For You
Drew filled his pockets with hematite and bulbs of garlic. He got a small drawstring pouch to hang around his neck. He filled it with five finger grass, echinacea, and cinnamon, just as suggested. He hung a bulb of garlic in each doorway and window. He placed his shoes in front of the bed pointing opposite directions. Then finally he sighed, but he wanted more protection. He walked down to the church and got holy water. He stood in every doorway and window and recited the suggest prayer while making a cross.
Finally, when he was satisfied, he laid down beside Mike and Paige.
His lips still burned...

Mike didnt move, if his chest didnt rise and fall one look at him and you would think he was dead or in a coma, but no.

Drew couldn't take this anymore.
"M-Mike baby, please. Please wake up." Drew begged, shaking his husbands shoulders.

Drew continued to attempt to wake Mike up. But nothing would work.
Little did Drew know, there was a reason for this. A very complicated, well thought out plan. And James Black was the man behind it.

Re: Fall For You
Yes, James was the cause of Mike's unability to wake up. He had put him in a sort of sleep paralysis. James was determined and if this was what it took then so be it. Suddenly, James appeared out of nowhere, beside Mike and Drew. Drew was shaking Mike's arm frantically.
"Ya can shake all ya want Drew." He smiled.

Mike's head lolled from side to side as he was shaken. He was cold and unable to move at all.
