Kiara looked between Jeff and Matt before she spoke. "Looks like it's just a flu bug that's been going around recently," Kiara said. "I'll give them both something for it before you go and I'll send home some medicine with you."

"Not just yet baby," Jeff said softly. "Not til me and daddy get the papers from the doctor that'll tell us how to make you better." It wasn't a lie, they couldn't leave without the discharge papers.

Dessi looked up at Matt. "We go home soon?" Dessi asked.

Kiara came back into the room a few minutes later. Dessi watched her carefully as she stood at the counter, trying to keep the needles out of the twins' line of sight, but Dessi caught a glimpse of one just for a split second and whimpered softly, curling up against Matt. "Chrissy.....she's got the poke...." she whined to her brother.

Chris curled up against Jeff "Papa please no poke." he cried softly.
Matt gently rubbed Dessi's back "Dessi sweetie its ok."

Chris shook his head "Papa no want poke." he whined as he curled closer.

"S'okay baby," Jeff murmured. "What can I do hm?" he asked. "How can poppa help so you won't be scared?"

"What if I got one too?" Jeff asked. He didn't personally care for needles either, but if it would help Chris feel better, he'd do it.
