Just A Number..

Zac sat upstairs in his bed, arms folded across his chest, face red. Rick had sent him up to his room after he got pissed and got in a fight with Biddy. Sure, he didn't mind this place. He really was starting to love his mother. But he missed living by himself. No one could fucking tell him what to do when he was alone. He wished Mike had never come to find him. His mind was already made up. He stood up and walked over to his parents' bedside table. He dug in the one drawer and grabbed his knife that his momma had taken from him. He pocketed it and climbed out through the window, landing on his ass as he fell from the second story. He winced and cursed but stood and kept walking.
He stopped at a park not too far away, his back throbbing too bad. When he fell he must have jarred it. He sat down on a large rock and pulled out his knife. He took off his wrist cuff and rolled up his sleeves. He took the knife firmly in his right hand and plunged it deep into the skin on his left wrist, dragging it across hard and slow, feeling the pain.

Quincy was in the park for other reason's. He had a home and a kid and all but he was lacking a lover. He had become a fucking monster these last few years and he fucking hated it. He was all alone and it bothered him, it hurt him. He was sitting in a tree, staring out into the open space when he noticed the small boy. He hopped down and crept closer, not liking what he was seeping.
'You know thats fucked up right?"

Zac's head snapped up, immediately shoving the knife down by his side.
He was taken aback by the beautiful deep brown eyes that he met when he looked up. He took in the man's face before speaking. That description fit the man Rick had told him about. He told Zac to stay away from him if he ever saw him. But he refused to tell Zac why. But Zac was not going to be afraid of him.
"Yeah, and you know that I can do whatever I want right?" He retorted.

"No, smartass I don't. You look like you are underage. Im sure your parents would not like that. Im sure I can take you back their and show em if your going to smart with me." Quincy knelt down beside him so they were eye to eye.

"Like my parents give a damn." He snorted, keeping his cool. But he didn't like how being eye to eye with tthis man made him want to just stop and stare. "And you don't know my parents so how exactly are you going to take me back?"

"Those eyes of your are a clear give away kid. You are somehow related to Mike Mizanin. So. Who are your parents?" Quincy raised a brow.

"How the hell do you know my grandma?" Zac said, voice slightly less angry as he cursed mentally and shook off the chils those damn eyes gave him.

"You dont have enough ground to be asking me questions. But I have ground so you tell me, who are your parents?"

"None of your buisness. That's who." Zac said firmly.

Quincy caught his chin in one hand and made him too into his eyes.
"Who are they?"

Zac's breath hitched in his throat as he was forced to stare into those eyes he had been good at avoiding so far. He melted.
Yupp he was surprised that he was not a puddle of goo on the ground...
"Rick and Kevin." He said, as he stared into the deep brown pools in front of him.

"Hmmm that kid who was with Sydney and the cripple?"
He was amazed by the beautiful eyes.

"Don't call my mother a cripple." He said softly but nodded. "But yes." He paused but as much as he tried could not stop looking into Quincy's eyes.

"Your mother....I dont like your mother. He is a pathetic cripple in my eyes, nothing but a sickly waist of space. Needs to be put out of his misery."
Quincy was screwing with him to see what he would do.

Zac was pissed. He might not be found of the other people in the house but he was starting to love his mother. Without thinking, he slapped Quincy in the face, hard. His eyes widened as he realized what he'd done. He was scared. This obviously was the man his father warned him about.
"I-I'm sorry..."

Quincy laughed at him.
"Like that hurt me you little brat. Didn't bother me none. But I dont see why your pissed, I was only telling the truth." He shrugged.

Zac glared and stopped cringing once he realized Quincy was not pissed.
"It is NOT true. My mother is a good man and if you say that in front of my father he'll fuck you up."

Quincy laughed.
"You father is putting on an act. He does not love that cripple, he loves Sydney. Everyone knows that. He is with that piece of trash out of pity."

"You should really shut the fuck up." Zac's eyes narrowed. He knew his parents loved each other. "My dad does not love that fucking whore..." HE was very bitter when it came to Sydney.

"A whore is better than a cripple." He poked Zac laughtly.

Zac glared even more.
"Is not. And he IS NOT a cripple. So quit calling him that."

"Okay, he can be the cunt no one wants around." Quincy started clotting his bleeding wrist.

"Y'know I actually thought you were cute but now you're jsut a cunt." He growled not even thinking about the words as they left his mouth.

"You thought I was cute?" Quincy smirked eyeing the boy carefully.

"D-did I say that?" Zac blushed lightly, brushing his hair over his face to hide it. "I meant I thought you were... stupid... yupp. They sound the same... in a way. You could've misheard." He lied.
